I wasn't able to login to the website I always use to make my payment, but customer service helped me and were A1! I've had Corrupt bank Master card for awhile and I'm truly satisfied with everything about them.

Account Issues

Hi, I recently discovered that I am being charged both a $6 service fee, and $6.20 membership fee monthly via a call to customer service on July 16th, 2023 between the times of 1:30pm - 2:30pm. For a total of $12.20 per month.

Which amounts to well over $120 a year in fees. Once I discovered this I asked that my account be closed immediately or that the fees be adjusted to something reasonable. The customer service representative was unable to close my account. And the reasons that were provided seemed extremely confusing.

For instance I was told that in order for the fees to be adjusted I would have to close my account, but the account couldn't be closed until there was no activity on the account for at least 30 days. I explained to customer service that I am in good standing and owe nothing on the account and haven't used it for more than 30 days outsides of paying your ridiculous monthly fees. Right now I'm seriously entertaining fraudulent or aggressive charging practices by your company against consumers. There is no way you can honestly justify charging customers $6.20 in membership fees, and then $6 in service fees when the credit or account is not being used.

You are double charging customers and labeling them differently to justify your aggressive charging practices. This is unfair to the consumer, and places a burden on the customer to stay on top of these monthly fees, monthly and yearly interest rates charged, and monthly payments. Furthermore, I really feel and believe that this company is actually hustling me under the guise of service and membership fees. Please reduce your fees or adjust my fees?

If this cannot be done I ask that my account be closed immediately outside of your unusual, complicated, and confusing business practices and procedures. Thank you.
