Steven W. Copus , Florida Bar Number 663352 is the most corrupt attorney I have ever dealt with.

In 2014, I was injured at work and I went to attorney James Steven W. Copus for a consultation. Mr. Steven W. Copus took my info after a 30 min. consultation.

I told Steven W. Copus that in 2013 I was baker-acted for 8 weeks and he pulled out a contingency fee agreement. I explained Steven W. Copus that I can provide notes and recordings I had from work that would assist James Steven W. Copus with my claim for injury.

I suffered from heart palpitations and emotional injury caused by my 11+ months working at xxxxx, Shalimar Florida - but he said that he doesn’t need to look at my evidence or listen to my recordings.

I further explained to Steven W. Copus that in 11 months I was deceived and worked for 4 different managers and 3 different chefs because the restaurant was a hostile work place and all of the chefs and managers never worked at the same time that it was 1 or the other and that all were fired... and then the next hired.

I further explained to Attorney James Steven W. Copus that there were co-workers that could give statements that would give them information to assist with my claim - I also told James Steven W. Copus that apparently I was fired on 5 May 2014 shortly after my injury and that I heard it from the dishwasher.

I also told attorney James Steven W. Copus that nobody would provide me with the WORKMENS COMPENSATION INFO.

Until today I am emotionally disturbed by a detective that has contacted me about threats I allegedly made to the restaurant owner, which is untrue. James Steven W. Copus manipulated me into a verbal agreement on May 2014 when I went into his office to give a scheduled deposition.

James Steven W. Copus never told me that THEY HAD ISSUES with discovery that they had to file a motion to produce the discovery because the attorney for the employer failed to turn over the discovery in a timely manner... instead of calling me into their office to discuss the discovery James Steven W. Copus already decided without consulting me first that he would give up on the case because the attorney and employer were going to take the case to trial and James Steven W. Copus than decided to manipulate me into settling the case because Steven W. Copus after collecting my retainer fees gave up on my case and did not want to give the energy to defend my claim of injury.

James Steven W. Copus created a scheme of fraud along with the attorney for the employer to destroy my case for a deposition. Steven W. Copus conspired together with my employees attorney to manipulate me....

Then James Steven W. Copus the attorneys who was supposed to represent me, filed fraudulent documents with the court cancelling the hearings that was coming up by stating that the claimant { me} received the requested medical care and compensations .. This was a total lie and because of that I lost my case…. Steven W. Copus committed an organized fraud scheme by conspiring with the other attorney to get my case destroyed. Maybe Steven W. Copus even collected money from the other law firm to DESTROY my case and make me LOSE any chance of receiving compensation for my injury claims.
