This is the second time this Frigidaire gallery smooth top stove will be cracking on me. There is no abuse of any kind, and this thing just started cracking from center of the front left of the burner.
As usual Frigidaire refuses to take responsibility for this Lemon of a product, and BEST BUY that sells you a so call extended warranty is refusing to honor theirs too.
Will never buy anything Frigidaire ever again, and don't waste your money on BB geek-quack extended warranty anymore. Not worth the paper it's printed on

KitchenAid - Very expensive ceramic cooktop scratched first time used

We installed this Kitchenaid product in July 2019 and used it to cook pasta. We used an enamal pot and made sure there was nothing on the bottom.
There were two bad scratches after this use. Called Kitchenaid and their only remedy was to send us a cleaning kit and tell us that if we wanted a technician to come out we would have to pay. When you pay this kind of money for a top-of-the-line downdraft ceramic top cooktop it should not scratch, especially when used the first time and the second time. The warranty doesn't cover "cosmetic" issues.

After a few months my brand new cooktop is discoloring. I am told it just needs to be polished which is *** I have cleaned and polished the heck out of it.
Whirlpool will not make it right.
Don't waste your money on the name Kitchen Aid. It is junk and they don't stand behind their products.

bought new frigidaire oven,2-19 driver delivered it and was having trouble handling it by himself. Sure enough after getting our sinature he left.
That evening when got home noticed it was not level, got down and looked underneath it and 2 legs were broken. called Matt at claremore, Okla. store, he promised to get someone out here to inspect it the next day, no show. Went to lowes store next day no one able to help with it had reciept.
Went home disputed it on cc, lowes finally showed up today 4-1 and said to call frigidaire, they could not help us, they did not have parts.
I cannot imagine if i ran my business like this. What can we do here lowes inv 98881.

As part of our second suite of KitchenAide appliances in 15 years, we purchased a KitchenAid gas stove top/electric over combo just under a year ago...and the self cleaning function is TERRIBLE. We called KitchenAid to feedback and their customer service department told us its not really a self cleaning function and that we should use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to clean it!
We will never buy KitchenAide again. As an aside, the KA fridge we purchased at the same time is also a design mess. The inside of the fridge from a layout perspective is equally as terrible.
