Conway Stores - Staff Review from Brooklyn, New York

To whom it may concern, I was at a Conway store located in Brooklyn NY at the corner of church and Utica Avenue in Brooklyn, time of incident was at a proximately 7:25pm on Saturday may 23,I assume both of the associate which i dealt with was one of which the manager or cashier which was very rude and disrespectful the manager on duty time told me that the last time he drump over the counter at someone he wound up in jail twice for doing the same thing he curse me out and told me to get out of the store all because I asked him the price of a merchandise which there wasn't a price tag on it and instead of trying to help me he curse me out and told me to get out of the store numerous time because, he doesn't want to jump over the counter anymore and walk away after which.

bottom line is it should not be in this position which he and his staff as no customer relation whatsoever none!..

Horrible service, Poor Management, Store in Total Chaos

I came into the North Riverside Park Mall location, 7501 W Cermak Rd, North Riverside, IL 60546 around 1:30pm 5/9/15 to return/exchange some items that did not fit. I stood in a long line of 20 customers and only 2 registers only to be told I had to find something to exchange it with and I would not be given a store credit.

I did not have the time to look and find any items to exchange them because the line was ridiculously long and I was headed to work. When I finally located the manager, an African American male in his mid 40s, I explained the situation. He did not offer anything for the inconvenience. The only thing he said was, "Our customers who shop here regularly know that you do not get refunds." I told this man six times I do not want a refund I simply want a store credit.

I reminded him for the tenth time that I do not live by a Conway store and that's why I am trying to get this done now. He did not care and I am not sure how ended up with the title of manager.

Might I add, no where in the store did it indicate that a store credit would not be issued. Worst place I have ever been and I will not be back EVER!!!

Preferred solution: I would like a refund because I do not wish to ever shop at your establishment again. However, if a full refund is not possible, I will accept a store credit.

customer service staff need training!

100 words not enough so I'll be brief by skipping many points! First had to climb over fallen merchandise to get sheets and comforter I needed.

Isles tight and hard to move around the overcrowded area. Only one sales person visible and ignoring my requests for assistance to get to item on high rack!

Checkout a nightmare! One register and when asked for manager(Fatima) she completely ignored customers requests.

She responded by " only one cashier!" And shrugged shoulders! I counted 17 customers including myself waiting to pay! I spent over $40.00 for my merchandise in green cash! Finally after customers became voicetrous, she got the only worker on floor to open other register!

This manager Fatima needs to be properly trained in customer service.

Each of the employees easily "point" fingers for directions instead of speaking or a smile! Please train these employees!!!

Also I will protest EVERYDAY outside your store until some action has taken place because what happen was totally unnecessary and embarrassing and your manager is a liar. Review the cameras and show me what I did wrong. I need a conference

Atlanta, ga greenbriar mall location. I was called a *** by an employee and when I went to complain the manager had me and my family thrown out.

When I tried to tell the manager what happen she basically called me a liar and rudely asked me to leave again after getting the police. This is ridiculous and embarrassing my family and I shop there alot but after today NEVER AGAIN! Its sad when a customer goes to the manager for a conplaint only to be called a liar to their face I know this location is in the hood but you don't have to act hood.

She have absolutely no customer service skills at all. I tried to get their names but because they were backed by the police I couldn't which she also stated dont worry about it just leave like we was some criminals or something August 23, 2014 8:20pm

Preferred solution: They need to be terminated a reprimand is not enough due to the embarrassment I received for trying to make a complaint. They both were rude and out of line and lack customers service skills of you are not a people person why obtain a job concerning ppl

Conways Fraud

Conways issued gift cards in December and now they are closing all their stores and are refusing to accept gift cards. CONSUMER FRAUD.

Abe Cohen and Daniel Uebbing are crooks. They closed their store on 34 Street without telling their employees they were going out of business. When their employees showed up for work, the store was locked. What a nice way to treat employees who have been working for the company for 15 years.

What goes around comes around. Perhaps they know that -- or perhaps they don't.

So if you cannot use your gift cards, file a complaint.

A lot of businesses go out of business without letting their employees know. As far as the gift cards go, maybe people should use them right away, then they wouldn't risk not being able to use them.

Conway store sell false perfumes

I want to complaint about a fraud.and need to know who is responsable for this. I went to Conway store at third ave Bronx NYC , and bought some perfumes that the garantee thats was originals and when i check they was only fake , pure imitations that the sold me like originals.

I want my money back.My tel # is 718 484-**** . The perfumes name was Flowerbomb , Kenzo. and supose to be in specials I paid $45 for each . The incident was in may 5.

Need some help for report this abuse in this store. Thank you maria Velazquez

So annoyed, frustrated, and fed up with #conway department store's #unethical and #false, #deceptive #marketing and unprofessional service. All the coupons that they offer on their official website ( they refuse to accept them at their physical stores (even though there is no expiration date or terms).

When you go to the website (http://conwaystores.com), an email sign-up pops up luring customers to provide their name and email information with the promise of receiving a $10 discount coupon via email. Of course once the poor customer receives this and presents to the cashier they refuse to accept it saying that they don't accept any coupons even if they are actively being provided on their official website. Have shopped so many times there with every trip resulting in over $100 in purchases but the false ad is too much to bear. The manager/staff are inconsiderate and direct you to call the corporate phone #.

Did that to file complaints about this false ad and unprofessional coupon service incident (which the website is still offering as valid) and have not heard back for almost a month now. Refused to shop any more but decided to give Conway one last chance which was again a terrible idea. Today, I happened to glance at my receipt and saw a charge "$.01" next to their "free gift" Asked the cashier what was this she said that is for the promo they are doing for black friday by giving you a card which you collect to enter for a chance to win some shopping spree on Nov 29, 2013. I said then that is NOT a FREE GIFT if you are charging the customer and not even telling them about it.

The cashier said its just a penny! Whether its a penny or $1,000. Its unethical for you to do that because if I hadn't checked my receipt I wouldn't have known that you were falsely pocketing money by scamming customer under the guise of free gift! The card that they gave me it self is deceiving like all of their fake coupons from their website - as it doesn't say there is a $.01 and that there is one limit per customer per day.

Today, my friend made two separate purchases in a same day and the cashier refused to give her two cards per two receipts claiming that its one cards per one customer per day. but clearly no where on their promo poster on their front entrance door, website, or the card says any of this. I just can't tolerate unethical, false, deceptive, #scam marketing done by companies like Conway Clothing Department stores to lure, deceive, and exploit customers. I remember Conway being good for the past 10 years even up to a year ago but as of this year it has risen in shameful tactics.
