Unwanted Window Cleaner

A shipment of window cleaner arrived at our company. No one seemed to have ordered it.

No purchase orders had been issued for Contractor Supply Company. We tried several times to contact Contractor Supply Company leaving message after message with no return call. Finally Cheryl called about their invoice. I informed Cheryl we did not want the items and have no record of ordering them.

I gave them my fax number to receive a return label. I was instructed to return the items within 10 days. It has been over a week and no fax received. I tried calling three times in one day with no response.

So I google Contractor Supply Company looking for a different number then the one listed on the invoice. I found negative reviews and no new number.

Received light bulbs we never ordered!

Where to start with these folks? My facilities guy received a phone call from someone at Contractor Supply Company that was soliciting their company services.

He said we were not interested and left it at that. A week later, we received a shipment of fluorescent light bulbs that we never ordered and a bill for $413.70. First of all, we don't use Contractor Supply Company for our light bulb needs, second, my facilities guy doesn't have authority to place orders for office supplies; I do. So I knew from there something just wasn't right.

I Googled the phone number/ company name and scam results came up. I called the company at 855-537-**** and left a message. A gentlemen by the name of Bill called me back and he kept insisting that my facilities guy placed the order. I told this is incorrect and to please send me a return label so that I can return the bulbs back at their cost since we did not place the order.

He took down my fax number and rudely ended the phone call.

Don't be fooled by Contractor Supply Company folks!!!

Received Bulbs that I never ordered

I received a strange call from someone telling me that they were sending me bulbs. Conineedsntly, I had ordered bulbs from Satake, and thought Satake ordered the bulbs through them, so I gave them the bulb information.

I received them a couple days later and called Satake saying the sent the wrong bulbs and to call Global Contractor Supply to resend new ones…They apparently hadn't even heard of these people. I called back to GCS (a cell number of a warehouse guy, Matt 267-372-****) in which I told him about the situation and told him not send anything anymore and to send me a RMA (which I received), the weird part about it was that even though I told him I didn't want bulbs, he was still trying to sell me liners and then garbage bags……Definitely a sketchy company to say the least.

I fell into the same trap, but somewhat worse. Same issue with me ordering a lot of fixtures and bulbs, then one day I get a call from this Matt Napha (same guy and phone number above).

My mind was in a thousand places and I wasn't paying him too much attention. Two weeks later accounting calls me with an invoice that I need to pay using my P-Card because the company isn't set up as a vendor. I call the number and pay without thinking about it, and now this guy sends bags, liners, bulbs and then yells at accounting saying that I wanted them. Now I have this 'Matt' and his 'CEO' 'Steve Wynn' (who ironically sound exactly the same) calling me demanding payment and then saying if I will send them $2000 AND all the merchandise, then it will all go away, and if not their going to 'do whatever it takes to get me fired from my job!' Said they 'had' Fedex receipts signed by me for packages delivered to my home address full of cash for the orders!!!

And get this... he actually had my correct home address!! WTF? I have never in my life had to deal with people of this nature and persistence.

I have had our Warehouse rejecting any packages from this company.

I seriously do not know what to do now. I do not want to lose my job because of these lowlife's.

Just started researching these people tonight, wish I would have paid attention before it got this bad.

Unwanted Light Bulbs

I received a box of 25 light bulbs from Contractor Supply Company in Southampton, Pa. that I didn't order.

Two or three weeks later an invoice showed up in the amount of $164.47 which is well over twice what the bulbs should cost. I called 855-537-**** and talked to Cheryl Ellis. I told her to issue an RMA if she wants the bulbs back. She stated that she can't do that even though she allegedly works in the accounting department.

So the bulbs are still sitting here for now. The invoice does not show a shipping address, only PO Box 1346, Southhampton, Pa.

18966.

This is nothing but a scam.

Be very careful of these people. They run several companies all that are a SCAM.

They use the names Global Products LLC, Crown Industrial LLC, and National Commercial Products. Do Not Speak with them, they get your name then use it as a "Verbal PO"

Guest

We received 25 bulbs, and they were invoiced to an employee's name, not a PO. We called them and told them to come and get their bulbs.

Guest

Possibly the same carton of bulbs floating around, tag your it!

Guest

The exact same thing happened here at our company. They are definitely evil!

Same thing happened to us, twice. I am fighting trying to get an RMA.

I finally got one the first time it happened, took about two weeks. Let's see how long it takes this time.

I received a box of 25 bulbs from the same company today. Definitely a scam.

I have tried to call, no answer, left message,,,, no call back.... I will not pay for these lamps and advise anyone else to do the same.the adress on the invoice is P.O. box 1346 Southhampton PA. phone number is 855-537-****.

BEWARE..........................

This is the second complaint I have seen about this company and the apparent scam of sending items and then wanting money for them. If you did not order the items, you are not required to pay for them.

Keep them and await a call from the sender and then tell them you will return the bulbs as soon as they pay for the return postage, etc.

Sent a shipment of fluorescent light bulbs I never ordered

A guy by the name of Joe Allen called me one morning thanking me for previous business we'd done w/them & wanted to offer a Home Depot gift card for their appreciation. I was fairly new to the company & I didn't recall of any prior business dealings w/them but I foolishly assumed we had history.

I never got the card but instead received a shipment of 25 fluorescent light bulbs I never ordered along w/an invoice for double the amount of what the light bulbs are worth. I called to complain & Joe said he'd fax me a UPS label to return the shipment.

He sounded agitated that he had to have them returned @ his expense. I'm STILL waiting on the UPS return label he'd promised.

Had the same issue - we're a large company. Guy calls and talks to maintenance tech - gives him his name, then a box of low quality florescent tubes show up.

Never ordered them. Can't use them as they don't fit anything we have. And at $14.99 a piece, its 3 times cost + shipping. Left messages asking for them to issue for a call tag to pick-up/return.

No call back.

I am glad I caught this - would have paid it by mistake as the vendor name is very similar to a local entity. Huge waste of time.

As always, when you receive something you positively did not order, do not pay for it and advise the company(if you so choose to)to send you a postage-paid method of return. If they do not do so, keep the product and forget it.

Make sure they don't bill your credit card, etc. You are the victim of a scam.

Even the jokers calling for charities now always open with "thanks for your previous contribution", etc. Sound familiar?

We are having the exact same problem!!! They found one of our employees names and claimed he wanted. Purchasing department called them for RMA and they refuse to take a return because they say our employee wanted!

Guest

They ship these items UPS...just reject the shipment. If your "receiver" accepts the shipment, it is fine, as long as the box is NOT OPENED.

Call UPS at 800-742-**** and tell them you are rejecting the shipment and they will pick it up and send it back.

Make sure all your people who sign for UPS and your AP knows NOT to pay the invoice.

Best of Luck!

Guest

Sent us light bulbs we did not order. What a thoughtful gift. :-)

Guest

They sent me garbage bags for FREE, followed by a $500 invoice. Just another scam company, trying to bilk hard working businesses.

Guest

We received light bulbs last year. Traced back to "Global Supplies".

This year we received trash bags billed under Contractor Supply Company,

SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guest

They also just sent out a box of lamps (25). and tried to bill me for 50.

At a ridiculous price. Over 10 times more than I can get the exact lamp for in my home town from legit. bussiness's. They told me "how much better theres are" LOL.

Yeah right. Although I was born at night,,, It was not last night.

The sad part is that there are suckers out there that just pay these invoices....

DO NOT LET THESE LOSERS PROSPER OR BENIFIT FROM YOU....

Guest

Contractor supply company shipped a case of 25 bulbs. Invoiced us by a "verbal" PO. I'm ignoring it.

Guest

It is sad the people make a living doing this. I think spelling is an important par of life.

MONTH . Well we all Probably had the same useless employee work for us and this is how we got sucked in.

Guest

Seems their on a role. We never received any lights but received an invoice. Just going to ignore it as we never ordered them.
