Spamming and conducting unprofessional business

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have talked to over 30 people at this company. I have told them all that I am uninterested.

They keep calling and texting me from different numbers even though I block them all. I have talked to managers all up and down the chain (so they tell me) and no one respects my requests.

Their customer acquisition practices are unprofessional, disrespectful, and invasive. I can't figure out how to get them to quit spamming me.

Total Scam - Multiple Unauthorized charges

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We have used multiple lead generation companies with different results. First off, their lead quality is terrible.

On top of that I'm pretty sure the resell their leads to Home Advisor because almost all of their leads came in from Home Advisor moments after being received from them.

But the bigger issue is we set a $300 "maximum weekly budget" as described on their payment screen. They then proceeded to charge us for $900 in one week. After complaining they said they would refund the difference but only actually refunded us $300.

Now I am complaining again and they are giving me the run around. This company will flat out try and steal your money and then lie about it.

Contractor.com

We spoke with one of their sales reps and NEVER signed up for their program. Now they have taken $1100 out of our bank account in 6 days for 20 leads on a program we didn't sign up for. After emailing back and forth with one of their "Sales Managers" about the fact we did not sign up, their best answer was there were 5 "bad" leads and they could give us $275 back.

Their suggestion was to call the other leads which are located in MN. We are only licensed in WI and this was made **glaringly** clear at the time we spoke with the sales rep.

***NEVER NEVER NEVER do business with company. They are nothing but theives!!!**

Misleading information and poor leads

we are a landscape company who have services with other online websites... Contractors.com is an affilated of service master both out of California. The intent to be listed on this website was based on

a phone contact by their website regarding pursueing leads. They had apparently, had an overflow of

inquiries to which they (contractors.com) had no landscape businesses they could or would refer leads to

in the areas we service. Under advisement, I was informed that we were required to become certified

first in order to be listed at their site..that meant providing our contractor's license number from the state. In doing so, we were advised that since most of their lanscape contractors were not, we would be listed above those that were certified which turned out to be about 99% of the businesses listed. In checking some of the reviews in our category, most of the written client reviews dated as far back as 2001 to which kept them in the top 10 spots for exposure. Having great concerns, reviews would make or break the priority listings. For a total of 3 months, we recevied approximately, 5 inquiries by customers thru their site. Keep in mind that all leads were delegated to 3 contractors for the same lead. The leads either were not something that we do, customers never returned our calls or did not warrant even contacting like putting plastic turf grass in a dog run. Contacts were made and emails were sent to this site to advise the issues noted several times. Nothing changed, as a matter of fact, if you were to pull up lanscapers in a particular town or zip we requested, we do not even come up in the catergory. Again, addressing this, they told us "not to worry" that being able to search on the website as a prospective client and pull up erroneous outdated uncertified clients was not important... that they

the company would decide who would get the leads. Figure it out for every lead provided regardless of their validity, they collect $150.00 regardless. This to say the least, has been a very disappointing venture which did not provide us (our business) any financial benefits.

Contractor.com is a scam they only take your money

It looks like internet advertising is a long way from being a viable lead source for contractors.Contractors.com is a scam operation. there leads are given to 50 different contractors when they assured me this would not be the case.

They are just as bad as Service magic and all the other *** online leads. A person looking to get good quality work should not go online to find contractors. Do not to business with this customer. All they do is take your money and run.

Once they have your credit card number they continue to give you bad leads. They are a short term company that will not be in business very long

Contractors.com scam

Contractors.com scammed me for $110. They sold me 2 leads 1 had no working phone number the other no address.

Today received an email stating that after their review the lead with no address did not qualify for a replacement. It could have been alot worse they offered to sell me more of these junk leads. How ih how could I have been so trusting to buy something over the ohone without checking them out with a website like this?

I never wanted a replacement just to be through with this terrible company. For details or proof Howard Schwartz owner Heatman.com

Cost me 650.00 in bogus leads.

Take that back. 2 out of 12 leads turned out to be real.

I talked to these people on the phone for a while before I signed up.

They lied to me.

Don't use them. Don't use them. Don't use them.

I signed up for this scam, took my money three times, 135.00, 135.00, and 100.00 thanks God I didn't have more credit, otherwise, they took all of my money, I nevr receive any lead that they call, Don't do business with them

I signed up with their lead service and every lead was FAKE. I do not understand how these clowns are still in business.

DO NOT use their service. They are #1 scam artists. I am glad I reported my card stolen to avoid charges for fake leads. They say you need to send a written notice to cancel the account and you cannot cancel for 90 days..

meaning they want to rip you off for 3 months before you are able to cancel.

My recommendation: AVOID THEM.. but if you fell into their trap, call your bank to block them or simply report your card stolen.

We tried this lead service and let me tell you, they are SCAMMERS! DO NOT USE THEIR LEAD SERVICE!

We have found out the hard way. We've spent over $1,000.00 in less than 2 months and EVERY lead was bogus/fake. We've been trying to get credit back on the bad leads, but they continue to ignore my calls and emails. We called them 2 weeks ago to cancel, but insisted that they wanted to make us happy and would refund money back onto our Visa.

It still hasn't happened. I just called this morning to cancel with them.

Still waiting for their cancellation email, which was promised to follow our phone call. We're ready to contact out Attorney.

DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS! I signed up wtih them scammers.

The lady said she bought the company from someone else told me all my leads would be 25 dollars. All my leads that were charged to my card were 45 dollars even after I cancled them I was still being charged to here I had to go to the bank and dispute the charges. These poeple have been ripping people off for along time and they have over 300 complaints against them and then they change there name.

I wish I seen the reviews before I went with them cause I never would. also do not use networks eather they are just as bad except they charge you alot more then these loosers.
