Continental Nissan - Car Repair Review

AI Highlights
  • Car not fixed under warranty.
  • Oil and air filter were changed; I paid.
  • Air conditioner not fixed after 7 visits; only temporary fixes.

Didn't fix car even when under warranty. Service department not honorable.

Changed oil and airfilter. Paid for it. Found out later through my mechanic they did not change anything. They couldn't fix my air conditioner which kept breaking down.

Took it in 7 times. Finally took it to other dealership which stated that there were only temporary fixes done. spoke to owner weinberger who gave no solution. I guess manure rolls downhill.

Save yourself from dealing with dishonesty and thieves. Do not go there.

Service RIP OFFS at CONTINENTAL NISSAN, in Countryside, IL

AI Highlights
  • Service lasted 3.5 hours and cost $450.
  • The directional lights failed again within an hour.
  • The real issue was towing wiring from U-Haul.

Service RIP OFFS at CONTINENTAL NISSAN on La Grange in Countryside, IL

I’m mad as ***, and I’m not going to take it anymore!

We were traveling, ….had just gotten on the road a little over an hour from home, when the left directional signal stopped working. We called the nearest dealer and went in for a bulb.

They came back to us saying they had to replace a "switch". They replaced the switch, and "oh by the way, we replaced the bulb too"…… 3 and half hours later, and $450 later, we get back on the road.

Not more than hour later, the same thing started. No directional. Then, there were no brake lights, and then no interior lights, no dash board lights…....NO LIGHTS AT ALL !!!

We could have been killed!

When I called COUNTRYSIDE NISSON, all I got were EXCUSES !!

……"Oh, we have to just start replacing things to find the real problem"…….No offers to reconcile, or fix it or help us in any way.

We found out later that the $450 switch wasn't even ‘bad" and did not need to be replaced.

RIP OFFS !!!!!

We took the car to a small local repair shop, who, in 15 minutes found the problem and fixed it "no charge"

It was some towing wiring that U-Haul had put on…( that will be another complaint).

Loss:
$450
