We ordered in June a monthly subscription for the digital CR, not realizing that it renews itself. It is now December and I realized what happened. I called up and they said they could cancel it. When I asked for a refund for at least the month of december they said no. I also explained that I never logged in and that could be seen on their end. It was a clear misunderstanding on my part that it renews itself, but if I want to cancel mid that... Read more

In trying read my December issue of CR, most of the type in the "Great Gift Guide" is too small to read even with my reading glasses. The benefits of the article as well as any other sections that are printed in very small diminish the value of CR. Please make it bigger. Thanks. And then... I just received a "Second Notice" and "Reminder Notice" invoice in the mail from Consumer Reports on August 15, 2016. My subscriptions do not renew until December 2016. The "Second Notice" was Highlighted on the outside of the envelope, the "Account Notice" was highlighted in RED on the out side of the envelope and the "Reminder Notice" was "handwritten" on the outside of the envelope, insinuating that I was late with my payment. Consumer... Read more

I am thoroughly discussed with Consumer's Report! I had gone online last month and cancelled my upcoming renewal scheduled for this month. Unbeknownst to me, they automatically debited $30.00 from my account this morning! When I called the company they said that they had never received my cancellation. It should be a law that ANY automatic debits should be prefaced with an email alert atleast 72 hours before, a my very credible Geico insurance... Read more

I purchased a year's online access to consumer reports in March. I had used the service in the past and had a positive opinion of it. In the last several months, I've tried to use the service on numerous occasions and found to be of absolutely no use. There is either no relevant information or the content is so scanty as to be a joke. An recent, example would be my attempt to access information about financial planning services. I got to a page... I had paid $26 for a subscription in February. It's May and I have not received one issue! I feel as if I've been robbed--they took my money and ran! I thought Consumer's was a reputable company! I will never ever buy anything from them and will tell everyone I know never to purchase anything ever from them! $26 is a lot of money for me! I should have never trusted this company! They begged me to become their customer for the longest time! I... Read more

The best midsize suv's. I would like to know why Consumer Reports compared a Kia Sorento EX V-6 to a Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited. The fair comparison would have been Top of the line model to top of the line model. In this case the two highest rated suv's the Toyota Highlander and the Kia Sorento. Consumer Reports used a Highlander Hybrid Limited and a Kia Sorento EX V-6 when they should of used a Kia Sorento SXL. The comparison ended with... Read more

your review of the 2016 silverado said the truck felt sluggish. That is a long way from the truth. I recently bought one ,after driving my sons 2015. I liked it so much that I traded in my 2010 silverado which I liked very much and never had to take into be repaired. I don't like anything which is sluggish or feels that way. The gas mileage you reported seems to be in error also. I don't do any hiway driving or much city driving either but I get... Read more

UNBELIEVABLE! AS A CONSUMER REPORT ONLINE MAG YOU'D THINK THAT THEY WOULD HAVE SCRUPLES. NOT SO. THEY HAVE BEEN CHARGING ME FOR AN "AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED SUBSCRIPTION" FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS. LUCKILY I NOTICED IT THIS YEAR. THEY WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY UNTIL I WENT CRAZY ON THE PHONE, THEN THEY AGREED TO PRORATE ONLY MY RECENT RENEWAL PAYMENT, LAST MONTH. I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT OF THEM AS CONSUMER ADVOCATES. THEY ARE SNEAKY THIEVES... Read more
