File a lawsuit because that's what I want to do because I try to talk to the state commission about the utility company and she doesn't care she sides with them she plays off like she wants to help you but she really doesn't want to help you they don't want to help you at all it's these lawyers around here that are punks and they don't care about going after a big company because they know they can't win

Updated by user Mar 28, 2026

absolutely not I would never use this company. This is a awful company.

Nobody should ever use this company. I don’t know why my building uses this company but I would never they would never be my first choice.

Original review Mar 27, 2026

I lived in my apartment for only 7 months, and they charged me $1400. Like, really?

They won't talk to me and are very rude and disrespectful. Like, can you be serious that you did what you did?

Preferred solution: Price reduction

User's recommendation: no way run

AI Highlights
  • Bills from November appear in March 2026, with charges up to $600.
  • Monthly emails claim something was forgotten and not billed.
Updated by user Mar 18, 2026

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this company.

I had to request a supervisor at least 7 times before they would agree to let me speak with someone. It’s almost a lose lose with this company keep fighting.

Original review Mar 03, 2026

Why is it about March 2026 and I'm receiving bills from November raising my bill up to $600? Every month I get an email saying, 'Oops, we're sorry we forgot to add this to your bill.' How many bills did y'all forget?

This makes no sense. I'm overly disappointed, basically pissed off with this company at this point.

Cons:
  • Always forget to add something to the bill every single month

Preferred solution: Bill spilt

User's recommendation: Do not use this service

FAULTY METERS. ADMITTED FRAUD. ZERO REFUNDS.

  • Overcharged about $2,000 over 33 months; meter defective.
  • They acknowledged the fault and promised a resolution, but refunded nothing.

FAULTY METERS. ADMITTED FRAUD.

ZERO REFUNDS.

Conservice overcharged me $2,000 over 33 months. Their own written letter admits the meter was defective. Charged hundreds for electricity I never used. Bank statements prove I was not even present during peak billing periods.

They acknowledged the fault.

Promised resolution. Refunded nothing.

This is not a billing error. This is a documented business model.

BBB: 561 complaints in 3 years. Reddit and Facebook flooded with identical stories.

Unexplained usage spikes. Billing for vacant units. Phantom consumption. Same pattern across thousands of tenants nationwide.

The strategy: Overcharge small amounts across thousands of units.

Bet most tenants won't fight. Pocket the difference. Settle quietly when lawyers appear. Continue with everyone else.

Customer service is designed to exhaust you.

No callbacks. No resolution. Form letters. Delays.

Wait until you give up.

I have the bills. I have their admission letter. I have bank proof. Still no refund.

Texas Property Code 92.331 mandates treble damages for utility billing fraud.

They know the law. They calculate the risk. Most people won't sue over $200. They keep millions.

Before signing any lease, ask: "Who handles utilities?" If the answer is Conservice, find another apartment.

You will be overcharged.

You will have no recourse.

This is not a warning. This is a guarantee.

Loss:
$9500
Pros:
  • Not a public company
Cons:
  • Fraudulent model
  • Scam service

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Avoid apartment complexes with Conservice electricity.
