Don't Hire this VERY unprofessional company

Workers were very sloppy. Did serious damage to our deck & lawn.

Owners wife reamed me out for not agreeing on what she selected for shower doors. Never finished job. Had to hire another contractor to finish & correct their sloppy work. Tracked across our bedroom carpeting.

Assured us that they would clean up after themselves at the end of each work day, however, that never happened. Delivered and installed the wrong granite countertops. Not the ones we selected.

Did a sloppy job of painting our bathroom cabinets. We picked the wrong contractor, Stay away from Connely Bath & Tile.

Owners can not deliver on promises

I'm sure this will be deleted quickly. It shouldn't be as I'll keep my opinions to myself and just state facts. Timeliness is not Connolly's strong point. Mr. Connolly was 20-30 minutes late for his first visit to our home. We decided to let that go and use them anyway as things happen. Then his daughter and my wife met on a Monday. She told my wife that she would contact me the next day regarding quotes for different glass doors. A week from that Friday (2 business weeks later) I called her for those quotes that she failed to deliver. We went forward with then anyway.

We were getting closer to start date and they had a $5,000 deposit. I get a call asking if Mr. Connolly could get some final measurements the next day. I rearrange my schedule to by there at 3:30 as agreed upon. I get a call around noon saying he wouldn't be there "right at 3:30". At 4:30, he had still not arrived so I called the office (no one ever called me). I was told he was en-route (it's a 20 minute drive). At 5:25 he finally pulled into my driveway, almost 2 hours late. He had no apology, merely that "someone should have called you". Someone, anyone, is a representation of Mr. Connolly as he is the owner and company president. He refused to take responsibility for his own tardiness and never even apologized for wasting my time. That's when we agreed to terminate the contract.

His wife promptly sent me a refund with a message stating that the contract was cancelled due to my being unprofessional towards their employees. Yes, that's right, I was unprofessional. He wasted 2 hours of my time without so much as an apology and she calls me unprofessional.

Feel free to choose any contractor you like, but I assure you I will not deal with them again., I demand professionalism and a commitment to their word from any contractor I select. When A contractor fails to meet the commitments they make and blames others for their shortcoming, in my opinion, that is unprofessional and undependable. I would have no faith in the completion of a project within the timelines they have provided if the owner can't even show up on time.

Connolly bath and tile ladson, SC lied

They lied about delivery date on tile I ordered and then lied about taking back unused tile. Stuck me for $250 dollars on tile they promised to take back and cost me 1k by not getting my order when promised so I had to pay workers to sit around and do nothing.

Don't trust these people! I filed a complaint with the BBB and listed it on Angies list. The sad thing about the whole experience is these people seem to have no conscience about what they do to people in order to make a dollar.

Buyer Beware! Beware!

I believe every word you're saying. I used to work for them, and they are nothing but liars up there.

They have no long term employees left. They just hire people of the street and put them on jobs and hope for the best. I've personally have seen them screw people over. And I've told homeowners to watch out and warned them off what they were doing.

All they cate about is putting money in their pockets and maintain their better than everyone else attitude. Me and my helper were the best they had, all of are customers loved us because we would go above and beyond to make them happy.

But then we would get chewed out for it later for taking to long or doing extras that we didn't charge for that were minor repairs. I wouldn't let them work on my house.

Hahaha so let me get this straight all you people have nothing better to do but talk bad about a company because they didn't get your orders right hahah low life's.

I have to agree with this post. They knowingly misuse their time at the expense of the customer.

Mr. Connolly was 2 hours late for an appointment that HE made. When he finally showed up, he had no apology or explanation. He said "someone should have called you".

Wake up, you are the owner and president. "Someone" is an extension of you as they are your employee and that means they represent you. This was the third and final time that they missed deadlines. We agreed to cancel the contract at that point.

His wife actually sent a message saying that the contract was cancelled because I was unprofessional. I didn't make him wait 2 hours without an apology.

They need to go back to new York and quit giving SC contractors a bad name.

They will tell you whatever they need to to get your business. They will do everything they can except to be professional or responsible.
