Connecticut Condo Connection - Do Not Hire

This is a single owner company located in Naugatuck, CT. The owner, Cathy, argues frequently with both condo owners and Board Members. She has hung up the phone on owners who call to question letters of violations she sends out with and without board approval. She has been caught lying to both owners and the board members. She will not get bids on most jobs even when bids are suppose to gathered for all services. She has been fired from managing more than one condo complex. Bottom line is do not hire this hole in the wall business. It's not a member of the Better Business Bureau either.

I own a condo in a complex run by Cathy. Over the years I only needed to reach her a few times.

My experience is that the service she provides is poor, level of respect is low, callback time below average in an emergency and and if it is not an emergency, well let's just say you can keep waiting. I have never seen nor her visit the complex. The contractors she hires do a bare minimum when they feel like doing it. Every person I talk to says it's like talking to a wall, she always has something to blame but it is NEVER her fault.

If you hire her, you will only have yourself to blame.

Your call.

you must be one of the lucky ones she blew.she and william flaherty are being investedgated by the sectary of state for stealling money from lincoln park condos in waterbury.along with T A landscaping out of watertown has also contracted work at lincoln park condo and never did work and charged thousands.even waterbury dectives are looking in to it ..connecticut condo connection pray on the low income familys that dont no the law or their rights

Not true! He ever someone gets a violation for whatever, they tend to strike back. I personally know them and there is no investigation whatsoever.

There is no perfect management company. The size of a firm and number of owners is of no relevance. It is the final result that is important. I am on the board of many associations and own more than a dozen condos in the Waterbury Ct. area. Most owners do not attend meetings and want others to do work they should be involved in. The majority of complaints are from those who are only interested in their own agendas including not following association rules or are late in paying their condo fees These owners are usually not happy about late charges and fines imposed for breaking the rules.

Ct. Condo follows the guidelines of the BYLAWS AND RULES of the association

which creates an approved and consistent living environment. The management company is not required to ask the board of directors if it can fine someone for a violation or infraction. It merely issues the violation and the owner has an opportunity to answer the violation or charge and it is up to the board at a meeting to decide whether a fine will be imposed. A managers job is not easy as there are as many opinions as their are members.
