Dropped billing

AI Highlights
  • Metropolitan north NJ hospital shifted billing to Conifer from in-house billers.
  • In 6-8 months, about 80% of billing was dropped, causing a large loss.

Our hospital in the metropolitan north NJ area had the brilliant idea of having Conifer do our billing instead of our own billers. Over the past 6-8 months, they have dropped (failed to bill) about 80% of our billing, resulting in a huge loss for the hospital. I'm taking my guess on who's sleeping with who because the hospital is burying its head in the sand and denying the whole thing. These bastards deserve to be skewered alive. They are probably taking money from the hospital to bill and from the insurance companies to keep the billing down, and profiting from both ends.

Conifer - Billing Arm for Tenet Hospitals

AI Highlights
  • Conifer bills for Tenet Hospitals.
  • Described as unscrupulous and dishonest, allegedly collecting from the poor for executive bonuses.

Conifer is the billing arm for Tenet Hospitals, and is the most unscrupulous and dishonest company. They will collect from the poor just so the CEO can make his $10M and more yearly bonus.

They treat employees less than garbage and have no honor for patients either. They send you to collections for only owing $4 and continually add interest charges.

Even if you like TENET hospital, the CONIFER billing arm is so inefficient and dishonest, its nothing but adding insult to your injury. They have offices in Frisco, TX and Anaheim CAL where there supervisors and management treat employees and patients alike with no dignity and no honor.
