we purchased a CPO car last year from Conicelli in Conshohocken, PA. were hesitant but after they ran a carfax report that stated it had one previous owner and no accidents, we settled.
things seemed to be going well. we made our monthly payments every month on time the entire year. 3 weeks ago we went to Ford to try and see and trading in our vehicle for an explorer (we need third row due to our family size). the ran a carfax report and said due to an accident, its no longer CPO & we cant get the full value.
we were confused because we had never been in an accident. turns out the accident was a year prior to our purchase. we had our original carfax history report from conicelli as well as the new one from Ford. long story short we went to conicelli to figure this out.
at first they seemed eager to help us and make us happy. Slyvia emailed HR & another higher up and cc us. after a few calls and emails we finally got a response. went in yesterday and was completely disappointed.
they stuck us with a sales man that knew nothing of our situation. showed us a car that was filthy inside, had no number for us and really just wanted us to settle with the ONE car they were willing to show us. presentation is everything. they had ample time to clean the vehicle ( we stopped one night a month ago to peek inside) they showed us and plenty of time to get together numbers & other vehicles that were what we are looking for.
since no one told us about the accident ( it had to be towed from the scene) we longer feel safe enough to drive our family around in it. the frame could be bent NOBODY actually knows. we are going on vacation first week of August and have to RENT a vehicle because its a 4hr drive and my husband refused to risk something happening. we barely drive the car anyway (i dont drive) my husband drives his company truck 6 days a week so we barely our ANY miles on Th Hyundai in the year we had it.
We have actually contacted Corporate Conicelli since we are getting nowhere with the local. and are contemplating contacted a lawyer. we have gone belly up with this vehicle and are basically being told too bad.
Attached are the Carfax reports. As well as a picture of the car in immaculate condition.

Preferred solution: trade in value of the CPO vehicle we purchases w/o an accident
Ripped me off on a used car
Conicelli Toyota in Conshohocken:
I purchased my used car in May 2010. I contacted my salesperson the next day because the driver's side door handle was broke.
He told me he would have it fixed. When I brought the vehicle in to have it fixed I was told I broke the handle and it would cost $600 to have it repaired. It took 3 weeks of protest before it was fixed. Next was all the dash warning lights.
This time I was told that they don't have the right equipment for my used car and I would need to take it to a Jeep dealer. Next was the break down because the battery was no good. Next was the brakes, rotors and tires which also was my fault because I "hit the brakes too hard". I was told that I would have to pay for it but because I just bought it they would give me a discount.
BUT I would have to take the vehicle to a Jeep dealer to get the vehicle checked out. That was $175, the brakes were $400 and the tires were $300. I contacted Conicelli multiple multiple times for the "discounted" repair and, needless to say, they did NOT contact me back. I bared the expense when left with no other option.
The treatment I received from this company was "nice" until after the purchase. Then they wanted NOTHING to do with me and the $1800 warranty?
WORTHLESS!
