Original review Jan 20, 2024

Hot trapped at the fair like everyone else. iowa state fair, was told they were from NY.

$40 to hold a spot for the presentation. Was told we would get a free cruise and gift cards back. Well, needless to say, thankfully we own a timeshare so we didn't need this sketchy travel agency. But we still lost out on $40 and 90 mins of our time.

I would like a refund, already complained to the BBB, but that got me absolutely nowhere.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL TAKE YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE!

SCAMMERS!! LIARS!!, TOTAL THEIF"S

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My wife and I got roped in to their sales booth at our local Fair,

and the hook was FREE CARNIVAL CRUISE! Don't you want a FREE CRUISE sir ?

So we said yes, what do we have to do? Just listen to our 90 min zoom meeting, and you'll get a FREE CARNIVAL CRUISE, with a $300 Vacation Card. We were asked to pay a REFUNDABLE $20 deposit for the zoom meeting, which we did, but of course, have NEVER received the $20 back, at almost 3 mos later.

The LIAR, SMOOTH TALKING zoom rep ANDREW THORN, had us sold, by the end of his big promise of amazing "almost free" travel example stays everywhere! SOOO wonderful, gosh what an opportunity for my wife and myself !

At first the offer sells for $12,000, but today were gonna mark it all the way down to just $5600 for you, if you buy now!

So the very the next morning we tried to Login on multiple times to their site as "new members", but no response, time after time. Then we called and left a message for the contact ERIN, another person in Condo Travel's line of LIARS. We were given her name by the first LIAR ANDREW, to call for any problems or concerns. And of course, she would not call back, but only would text us, and of course passed us off to someone else named Heather.

Their game is pretty clear, keep passing you down the line until you can't take it anymore, and they hope you'll just give up and go away.

On the 3rd day we finally got to one of their travel reps, some young lady at home with several kids in the background crying and yelling, while we were trying to book our so called "free cruise".

Well the free cruise is NOT available for 3 months, not in 4 weeks, not in 2 1/2 months, etc, you can use it in 3 months..., seriously!!

And the 3 day Mexican FREE cruise will cost you $698. in fees.., seriously? !!

But sir you can upgrade to a room with a port hole window for $1434.

Ok..., wow wasn't expecting that cost.. You know miss we are new members with the Condo Travel Club..?

Yes I am aware of that sir.

Ok, well what about our $300 travel credit we get..? We sir you have to book your "FREE CRUISE" in a Luxury room, a Balcony room or a Suite. Ok, how much now for a Balcony room for this 3 day Mexican "FREE CRUISE". Sir your special price will be $1,749.

SERIOUSLY miss, that doesn't seem very "FREE" to us... good-bye, good-bye.

The next day we tried again, and again to Log on to the Condo Travel site with no avail. We tried calling their office, left several messages all day, with NO RESPONSE, back. Can you say RED FLAGS, mutiple RED FLAGS !

So on the 4th day we formulated a letter asking for a refund of our $5600 be returned to us, and put it in the mail to their NY office as directed in their contract..

Four weeks later we received a letter back from a JILL TANNER in NY stating, basically your not getting your $5600 back. THIEF'S !!

Recap: We gave $20 refundable deposit for the zoom meeting, NEVER RECEIVED BACK. We gave them $5600 for so called cheap, cheap travel & vacation stays.

NOT SO! We are unable to book anything, as they make it pretty close to deal with anyone!

Charged us $199 for the annual member fee, for what.., we can't get any service, and the ONE time we were able to deal with someone, it was much more, double the cost then booking a trip yourself.

RED FLAGS !!

No places were ever available and the available places were as high as you could get without this service. We must have been out of our minds. We just gave them over $3,000 and all we ever received was a cruise which ended up costing us as much as they paid.

I have been an owner of the condo travel club, for almost 3 years now. Not one time have they ever helped me out or given me any offers, because I refused to pay the another 199.00 each year for membership rights.

When my wife and I bought this program we thought it was to good to be true.

WARNING! STAY AWAY FROM CONDO TRAVEL CLUB!!!

I posted regarding this company in August 2018 and then again in September 2018. As of today February 14, 2019, the issue still has not been resolved.

Condo Travel has no intention to honor their word, nor resolve this issue. The ONLY thing they want to do is continue to talk and show you how to use their site, which their employees have an issue with and have to call you back after they figure it out. If you are reading this post and have been ripped off by this company, I am would like to speak with you regarding filing a law suit. We cannot keep saying oh well, when companies miss lead the consumers and the consumer counts it as a lost.

NO! This is no longer acceptable! They are miss leading hard working consumers and should be made to stop. This is one of my purposes in life now to fight Condominium Travel Club.

If you are interested in being apart of this lawsuit, please email me @ letsstopfraud@***.com.

WE WANT OUR MONEY REFUNDED!!!

They say they have hot weeks from $99.00-$395.00.

These weeks are so hot, they can't touch them or find them! THIS IS A HOT MESS!!!

Hello Woodrow A. We were scammed by this Condo Travel as well.

Have you filed a class action law suite?

If so we'd like to get details as to how we can join you. Thanks & Regards, Dan & Leann Clovis, CA

Unfortunately we bought into this program and they have not been able provide us with lodging as they stated. They could not provide us with anything in NYC and the rates were around $3,000 for the week.

And now we are looking for something near Ft. Hood / Kileen, TX. The closest place they have is 2 to 2 1/2 hours away.

This is nuts that they are not able to provide what they said during their talk when they sold this to us. We want our money back!!!

Montia Bbn

I couldn't agree with you more. I purchased this program 3 years ago and they tell me they can't help find anything because I need to join their service, which now will cost me another 100 and something a year or I can't use the service, My name is bob Sweetman and I wish someone would email me and let me know how to jn this class action lawsuit. eagleman_@***.com

We signed up for this during a state fair and went to the meeting and everything seems so good we were told that it was way better than the timeshare that we were going to get it we could cancel at any time we signed up for this during a state fair and went to the meeting and everything seems so good we were told that it was way better than the timeshare that we were going to get we could cancel at any time. I just had a major surgery and my mother-in-law is not doing very well she has broken both hips and needs a lot of care and we ask could we have our money back and we would join after everyone heals up.

They responded that we only had three days to cancel. They missed lead us and had us sign on a small computer rest us through the signing and I feel like they lied to us. After reading the reviews on them some people only had to pay 2000 when we had to pay four.

We want our money back but they said no! We will not recommend this company to any of our friends or family !!!

My wife and I saw a presentation in Tampa, Florida supposedly for discount travel. We were showen what was supposed to be, discounts on hotel, cruises, car rentals and hotels.

These discounts were supposed to be the lowest discounts we could get. I'm not sure what was pulled up on the computer that we were shown however, it was NOTHING like what we have been able to find on our own. We tried for months to find these discounts, my wife called Condominium Travel Club (CTC) to find discounts with no success. The first call, they told us it may have been the time of year...the problem is, NOTHING they told us was true or accurate.

My wife gave them may dates to search for us they finally responded via email that they could not find any availablity for any of our dates. What's even worst is, the cost of what we purchased was $2,200 and they did the financing for $3,000 hoping we would make other purchases. Worst thing we have ever done.

WE WANT OUR MONEY REFUNDED!!!

Fraudulent

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My husband and I signed up for the $2,000 membership program and was promised deep discounts in hotels, car rentals and cruising. We received our ability to log into the website and utilize the services on 3/1/18, the same day we had in which to cancel the membership.

I looked up a couple of hotels that we currently have refundable reservations with. One is 28 days out, one is 6 months out. This agency is quoting the same price for both that I can get them at today as refundable. This agency is quoting them to me as non-refundable.

There are no discounts for the cars. The cruise price is $123 cheaper, however at the $199 a year renewal fees, I will not even recoup that.

I contacted them directly hoping the prices on the website were not accurate. They confirmed the prices on the website, which are again the same that I can get off of any travel website and/or directly through the vendor.

We are considering fraud charges!

These plans are a very bad deal, as you have found. Cancellation is probably not an option and at least you are only out two thousand. Make sure they do not renew.

Fantastic Experiences

I saved my initial investment of $3000 the first year. My wife and I have booked cruises, air travel and condos.

In each case, we saved more than we would have if we stayed with our previous travel agent. This includes a cruise to Hawaii, condo near Yellowstone, an awesome condo near Helen, Georgia and a transpositioning cruise from Barcelona, Spain.

My son joined as part of our group and has saved thousands as well. I recommend them to anyone that has the opportunity to do so. We do continue to check prices on Kayak, Travelocity and other websites as well as our previous travel agent.

None of them come close to the price we get for a week in a condo and most of the time on deals on cruises and hotels. My wife and I consider our $99 a year fee well worth investment.

SCAM-TRAVEL CLUB SUCKERS

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We went to a sales seminar that enticed us to join. We have paid the $7000.

We have only used this travel club once. They guaranteed in the seminar that they could beat all prices. When in fact you attempt to book a vacation thru them and the excuses start: no inventory, can't use a travel voucher because you have to give advance notice, you have to give advance notice to book the hot weeks.

Then I go to the internet and look up my own rates and the dollar amount was not even close to the much cheaper amount that I found. This is a scam and has been a scam, and it is such a shame to hear that they have taken the money of over 20,000 people ( I am sure there is more now).

Took a fee of $3000.00 and did not perform

We joined the Condominium Travel Club/Pulaski tickets&tours 4882 A north Jefferson St. Pulaski, N.Y.

13142 Phone 877-453-**** or 315-298-**** for a fee of$3000.00 and we were supposed to be able to book a condo, one bedroom for $399 for the week,no black out dates, any where. In June I sent my requests to The Condo Club for three condo's for. After two and a half three weeks in October and November. After two and a half months of them doing nothing to fill my requests, I was advised they did not have their own inventory of condo's and have to rely on outside suppliers and there is no guarantee the can get me anything.

They can however book me a hotel, I said get me a hotel for $399 for the week/ I don't think so. I was forced to make my own arrangements and have written two letters the president, Patrick Hartough, requesting my $3000.00 back and I have not had the courtesy of a response to date.

My wife and I have nothing to say but great things about the Condo Travel Club. We have saved over $10,000 in cruises, $5-$10,000 on condos all over North America and over $3000 on Collette land tours. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

Guest

I have been using them for 18 years and can only say i had no problems Book cruises with them and condos.... You have to remember that this is a membership not ownership.

and they work with suppliers.. if you want a guarantee pay the $30,000 for a time share.

This is great and work for us.. and for only $3000 we more than paid for it back several times

I would like to update you on the complaint from our anonymous member.

We have resolved Mr. Gordon's issues with his first booking experience with us.

He is traveling to Florida and staying in the beautiful Wyndham Royal Vista condominium and savings hundreds on his accomodations. From time to time there are misunderstandings and miscommunications with our members. We are far from perfect. We try extremely hard to resolve any misunderstandings in a fair and amicable way.

We will continue to work diligently for our 50,000 members. Our mission is to provide the best accomodations for the least amount of money to all our members.

I will add this to the above complaint:

We joined the CTC 3 years ago for about the same "Fee" [approx. $3000.00].

Beware: Once you sign those papers & they take your money, DO NOT count on any more than receiving emails about "Dream Vacations" that you will never book. These people "Solicited" us for our membership. "Lured" us to a nice hotel for a presentation that promises everything you can imagine about booking these Marvelous, "Too Good to Be True" vacation values. They are SO HARD PRESSED to get your signature that they use "Arm-Twisting" Pro-Wrestler Techniques to get you to sign up.

After you forfeit your cash & leave that hotel, you will never get a thank you or any follow-up.

You will not get any more than the confusing manual that you received at the presentation. Once they get your money they are DONE with you.

We just started and can't say I disagree with you. Just a website that is not that user friendly. Put in my first request for a condo-- we will see if they do what they say.
