Concorde Career College

This school needs to be shut down they don't care about the students only about money they discriminate constantly they have changed there rules and regulations on a regular basis

This school has taken money for the Surgical Technology program under false pretense. This student was doing well in all courses with a high B average. When it was time to prepare for clinical's they were told the hospitals would not accept them at their site because they won't launder scrubs over a size 3 x.They new what size scrubs they needed for the program when they order them for class. When they were challenged, Concorde told the student the only way they could go to Aurora Medical Center would be to purchase 65 pairs of scrubs ($3,000) of pocket and throw them away after each procedure. When they agreed all of a sudden Aurora was not a participating site.

Finally a reject director from Everest College said the hospitals didn't want them in their operating room because of their size. He said he's never gowned anyone larger than a 3x. Since the student had a solution for the scrubs, and they were in compliance. The Reject from Everest College decides to administer their practical skills test and failed them. They had never failed a test.This could jeopardize their clinical's . When it was time to sign the form stating the failure this reject added on 8 more errors. When the student pointed out the big discrepancies, the instructor looked at the test and seen the discrepancy himself.the reject tried to play it off.

Another problem was they were constantly changing labs. The labs were losing shot records and saying students did not receives shots when they had. They violated the students privacy by discussing a medical issue in the student testing room, with the door open instead a private office. A classmate approached the student in class and brought up what she over heard.

The President of the school bad mouthed Children's Hospital in Aurora, Aurora Medical Center, University Hospital, and Rose Medical Center of Denver. The clinical site coordinator stated Boulder hospitals are not very opened minded.

The President also said her administrative assistant should not asked why a student needed ADA services.

The curriculum is poorly written, they are missing over 100 instruments for prep for clinical's sites. When asked where they can have more hands on with the missing tools, students were told to look at them in the book. They do not have enough participating clinical sites. For Tim in Golden, I was told that Denver Attorney's won't touch Concorde because they are paid not too. I can back up my statements with emails from Concorde individuals. They need to be sued and shut down. They do not deserve any stars.
