Compass Truck Sales

My first experience with Compass started back in 2010 when I bought my first truck. I was a new driver and they sold me a Freightliner Columbia 2004 for 30,000. I put 6500 down including trade in from a box truck and drove my *** off for 16 months to pay it off. The first problem I never missed a payment, then was time to get my title guess what their accountant was bad at keeping records and said I owed late fees. I said impossible. I made every payment on time so I had to retrieve all of my bank statements in order to prove I was correct. So I kind of let this go and said well I will try them again and buy my second truck.

All *** broke loose and devastated my life with the second truck I bought. I bought a 2006 Freightliner Columbia and put a driver in it. After his first trip the engine started leaking antifreeze. I quickly called compass and the owner Mario says use the warranty. So I called a few shops and they told me that they have problems with the warranty getting their money and if the truck does not fall into specific categories then they would not fix truck. Now for the good stuff, I had a leak from head number 3. In order for the shops to quote me they had to go into the engine to see what was causing the leak. The only problem is the leak was considered outside and the warranty did not cover this. Well after 10k plus in repairs (out of pocket) the truck still leaks and compass will not do anything about this.

The next thing I had a buddy that also bought a truck from compass, he truck had so much damage that it could not be be fix. Compass actually helped him and tried fixing truck which lasted for maybe half a day then they said well "you must be breaking truck". Right now I am financially ruined and driving for someone else. If your wondering about the first truck I bought well it didn't even last two years before the motor fell apart on the toll road. Paid it off in 16 months and that 19th month the engine fell apart.

Compass truck are dead trucks. They sold truck to me for 28500 with cracked engine block.i spend 15000 to find out problems with engine.i put 8500 down 1000 for 30 days fake waranty 15000 for repairs all over USA.i never make any penny with this truck.

Best experience with this guys, specialy with Milan, sales consultant there. He got me aproved for financing with no credit, we test drove truck, went for inspection by my mechanic, he ordered all repairs to be done, when I got truck delivered I was impressed, truck was sparkly and ready for road.

He told me that he is going to take care of me and he did really good job, he showed me everything what was done on truck plus dot, pm service and warranty for 90days. Now after six months I'm planing to get another one, I have my consultant Milan , I'm positive that they are honest people and know what they need to do to get repeat business.

All sales rep need to speaks ENGLISH in order to communicate wiht customer and anderstand whats is going on in this field and how to make a sale with good attitude not just a suits

Talked to one of the sales rep who said they can't tell me what's wrong with the truck. Save yourself $ome time by not going there.

Once i got there omg omg omg omg omg omg omg a a a a a a a a a a aa a a a a a i was so pissed, they told me one thing on the phone and in person was another thing.

Worst thing, I drove 300 miles to get there. Not sure who runs the place, but sales reps need to either change their script or the management is forcing them to do the poor job.

I bought a truck from them in march and since march i already have 1 month and 1 week of downtime due to repairs and i have invested out of my pockets close to $10,000 dollars in repairs alone. When i talked to them about it all they said was " you bought a used truck and you bought it as is".

They sold me a used truck with all these problems and i don't believe that's a good representation for themselves as a dealer. I don't believe i will ever purchase from them again.

Thank you for sharing your experience with this company. I was going to get a truck and every thing was play out really smooth but when I was asked for a huge down payment I knew something was not right..

I have good credit and yet they came with this argument that didn't make any sense., so I bail out and now that I read this coments.

As stated in other complaints they did the same to me after I put $5000 of work into the truck. They came and illegally repossessed the truck from ohio.

Then hid the truck. Would not talk to me about getting the truck back. 6 days later said that the truck would be auctioned. Total lie.

Would not accept 50% of the balance but only a full compkete payoff. When I got another companybto refinance me... mysteriously the truck was no longer available. Ana in finance, alex the sales manager all the way to angie whom is supposed to be the ceo are crooks.

Please do not do business with them you will be sorry and out of a lot of time and money. I wasted a year and a half of mybtime dealing with them.

I purchased a truck threw them.

It was the biggest mistake I made in my life.

Their scam artist all they want is a big down payment. Then they will hook you up with a company (AS Transportation or Mak Trans) where you wont make money and four months they'll get the truck back and sale to some one else.

This process is repeated 4 to 3x's a year. I had to come up with a 10,000 dollar down payment my freind who credit was worst than mines only had to come up with 3000. My freind only had his truck 1mo. The repo his with him only being 7 days late on the payment.
