How would you compare Silverleaf Resorts vs Wyndham Hotels And Resorts?
I don't know about Wyndham Hotel and Resorts maybe they're just the same with Silverleaf Resorts that looks nice from the outside and once you go inside it's dirty. Me and my husband wanted to used the tub, and there were stains and hair that we call housekeeping.
We owned Presidential Unit because they force us to buy. We can't get out like we were interrogated like criminals so we bought it not knowing the unit is in Florida. We're too old to drive down there and it's been 5 years we haven't used it. We just keep sending payment with no interest coming back to us nor incentives.
Silverleaf Resorts is now owned by Orange Lake in Florida. We lost $12,000 for the down payment in addition to 18,600 payments that was made for the Presidential unit.
Do not trust Silverleaf Resorts as they are big time scammers. We are victims of fraud and deceptive practice punishable by law.
I have never dealt with the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts but I have stayed at their resorts. There is no comparison between Wyndham Hotels and Silverleaf Resorts.
The Silverleaf Resorts are like comparing a one room shanty hut to a palace (with the Wyndham Hotels being the palace. The Silverleaf Resorts have changed their name again to the Holiday Inn Resorts and the did not improve at all, they are still a dump. People should not even show up for the high pressure sales tactics whenever they are invited to claim their free vacations that they supposedly won with Silverleaf Resorts. If you buy their resort packages for $10,000, they are worthless once you walk out of the door.
You can't sell them for a profit as claimed by the the salesperson.
You and your heirs will be paying over a $100 in maintenance fees for the rest of your life as stated on the contract when you buy. You can't sell or give the property away because who in their right mind is going to agree to pay over $100 a month for the rest of their lives?
