Uhaul is a much better company to deal with when it comes to rate increases with a storage unit. Yes, uhaul raises their rates every six months as well, but not in such large increments as Public Storage.

My recommendation would be to do your research and go with a storage place that me be a little higher at the beginning but they don't raise their rates every six. Especially if your planning on renting a storage unit for any length of time.
