I have never used Office Depot, not in this area, however, will never use staples in Monticello, NY again. They are the worst

The employees in San Ramon California on Fostoria Way have a new manager. This manager acts as a warden to his employees.

Employees who have been in the store for six months, one year or even two years do not get respect. Employees get "punished" by the new manager who do not follow his orders. Or run the store the way he wishes. The new manager shows attitude if his wishes are not followed.

An employee was taken off his usual position and told to perform other duties because his new manager was not happy the day before.

False accusations will be made during observations. If the employee retorts, it will be looked upon as "argument" or" rebellion". The new manager will even falsely accuse employees that "customers complained" that this or that was said or done. A false written complaint will be registered.

This a.m. the smell in the San Ramon store was unbearable.During the previous evening, the floors of the San Ramon office had been cleaned, but the garbage had not been disposed off. The new manager was in control. The atmospheric conditions to work in were hazardous in the morning today.

Yet the employees within the store bore the conditions and worked. The manager bragged that he was not taking any breaks while giving employees breaks. do managers deserve breaks after creating such conditions? A supervisor helped in keeping the doors of the San Ramon office open during the stink.

When the new manager went on break, she closed the front doors as a security precaution.

Employees are called at random in a closed office and given mild threats. Every action of all the other managers, and employees of the store are under the microscope of the new manager. If any duty of any employee of the store is not performed according to his wishes, the new manager will express displeasure, even in front of customers. The store manager will not have anything to say.

The store manager upon requests from employees will say "deal with it."

Managers are expected to manage a store, and do their duties and not just monitor employees all day. New managers are expected to take over the role of the previous one, not try and establish authority over employees who have worked several weeks or months before them.

If new managers try and make new changes at the cost of stressing employees who have established careers, is it fair to the employees or the customer base that they have generated? The store owner needs to take action against the new manager who is harassing it's employees.
