But before you do that you can just check if your computer has Adobe Reader 8.0 or higher which is necessary to preview or print your tax forms. However, if you are on the latest res of Quicken you may require Adobe Reader 11 or higher.

It is not a question of which one. You can run both at the same, and each covers different things.
I run both on my Windows 7 machine. Norton is supplied as part of my Comcast Internet subscription at no extra cost. I decided I had to have something better after I accidently typed in youtibe-dot-com instead of youtube.com and a screen came up claiming to be a ransomware screen. It locked my browser.
It took at least an hour to figure out it was not real ransomware, but just some JavaScript trick or something. Why didn't Norton catch it? So I got MalwareBytes 3 Premium and have been using it ever since. When a website gets flagged, it is most often by MalwareBytes.
Nevertheless I keep Norton AV running since it is free and runs scans on downloaded files much faster than MalwareBytes.
On the latest Windows 10, Microsoft's built-in AV is now almost as good as the other AV products, so that is all the traditional AV I run on my wife's W-10 machine. I do run MalwareBytes on her machine.
How would you compare Norton AntiVirus vs Malwarebytes?
Norton has a much better Customer Service than Malwarebytes.
When, I recently went on to the Malwarebytes website, and I thought I was in contact with Malwarebytes I soon found out that I was actually in contact with someone called Pissed Consumer - who has still not answered the questions that I posed to them, while I was thinking they were Malwarebytes.
At least when in the past I have contacted Norton customer service, they have not hidden themselves away behind another name.
I have already uninstalled Malwarebytes from my computer and will not be renewing my subscription with them.
For the reasons I have stated above I prefer Norton over Malwarebytes.

They both suck, but you can get a person from all over the world, but good luck in talking to someone in the U.S.
Product or Service Quality
Reliability is about the same the Norton being harder to navigate on line.

Malwares ability to even talk about any issue is non-existent as was in my case, when I got an email stating my 1st year $19.99 would increase to $39.99
which is 12/7/2022 when I'll be cancelling simply because I can't discuss the issue with a billing person, OR ANY PERSON!
I quit Norton after 10+ years because of shannagans they were pulling about my refund.
