Everyone has an opinion and mine is that I should have gone to Home Depot to buy my freezer. I have seen prices of appliances at Sears continue to rise quite a bit over the past few years.

While they sell different brands, they mostly stick to the Kenmore brand. Home Depot's prices are usually more reasonable and I have never had a problem with having to return anything to them. They have been very nice at returns. Same products (minus Kenmore) but better prices and easier returns.

One more thing....Home Depot honors the veterans with a discount....Sears refuses. For many reasons, I understand why Sears is going out of business, slowly but surely.
