How would you compare Reloadit vs Green Dot Moneypak?
They both are very ridiculous when it comes to freezing your card. And of course they wait until you either spend hundreds of dollars on there reloading cards or money paks or after you have loaded your reload money into there safe to decide oh let's freeze that card.
I'm having horrible experiences with both companies. I have money attached to both of these systems that I can't get to. Thousands to be more specific. And getting a refund is a nightmare of a process.
I have yet to see any of my money after 20+ calls and emails and help tickets to a each company. It seems like over the years they have gotten worse with there customer service. When they first started doing the whole prepaid cards I had both Greendot and NetSpend and I liked NetSpend better because they had a cool option to set money aside from your debit card for saving. You used to be able to call in to a automated or live person number to load your card.
All that's gone. Your always taking a HUGE risk buying the reload paks and being able to actually get the funds on your card to use. It's put me in really bad situations which is beyond frustrating especially when you HAVE to pay cash for the reloads. My opinion is if your getting direct deposit yeah there cool but if your trying to load the card with cash try your hardest to get a bank account.
Yeah there might be added fees but at the end of the day you can always walk in or call and speak to a real person should there be any issue with the card. One example...imagine your out of town and your car breaks down or you need a hotel room so your family gets you a $500 reload it or money pak and you go to load it on your debit card so you can pay for your car or hotel room and they all of a sudden out of the blue decide to freeze your card. Your screwed because then your family is out that CASH and your still in the messed up situation. If you need money sent to you.
Go to Walmart, money gram, ANYWHERE but these two company's. They advertise convenience sending money to anyone.
That's B.S. good luck.
