State Farm is about the dirtiest trick out there. They go the extra mile to deny your claim.

And they do not hesitate to jack you around on pricing calling it contengency or what ever. No reason could be shown for my 20% rate jack up, except I had relocated to a different county and did not have their renter's policy, a 3% discount, WOW within a 20% increase, total BS. And they definitely steal your claim if you have one, they target Comprehensive coverage, with things like we checked with weatherunderground.com and no percepitation , hail or storms occurred on your claim time, and your vehicle is a few years old so your paint is worn out. That;s why the storm did no damage, your paint was just plain old and worn out, what BS, it just goes on with them.

And in NC, they say they lost so much money they have to go up on every policy hold 20% to recoop their profits from claims, Half I would guess they worm out of.

Complaining to the NC Insurance Commission, does little to help, they seem to just find away to take State Farms side( lobbyst) I would guess.

So all in all my recomendation is to stay away from State Farm especially in NC.

I have had Geico also, never one problem with them. I had to have 2 winshields replaced from road hazard damage. They never even questioned it.

Helped me get set up with a mobile replacement within hour's.Great company.
