This is too difficult to choose. They are both so inept they don't deserve to be in business.
All they have done is upset, use and *** off more customers then they ever possibly helped. I was a customer of Verizon when Frontier moved into Texas, California and Florida to take over Verizon customers and came half-cocked, ill-prepared and not caring what happened. I had service 32 years and went they took over they disconnected my FIOS. It can't be reconnected, had to get new service in the midst of the *** storm they created while they were alienating all other customers, 911 service was down, it was a nightmare and unforgivable the arrogance they showed in this.
This sums up their actions even today, more than a year later. I saw their media guide and it full of popups, just unforgivable to do this to paying customers. Yet, Time Warner is just as inept, almost another too big to fail, but they need to fail in order to wake them up and clean house so that they may finally turn to the way service providers should be. Everyone echoed the same reasons, overly high prices, terrible customer service and completely inept.
THE WORST OF THE WORST! BOTH OF THEM!
They both suck. Overpriced, horrible customer service, and total incompetent.

Time warner is not in my area! Comcast cable is the other company!
Frontier is horrible - I quit shortly. Poor DVR use, poor picture quality, poor ON DEMAND tv programming. In addition there is a major bait and switch - $400 promised after 90 days BUT when 90 days are up they say it is only if service is paid for 2 years! They claim no service contracts ever!!
So what is the unwritten 2 years needed to be paid for the reward advertised as a 90 day benefit??? Online website is useless!
Send out promotional ads for seasonal service - but they are only for additional security program, not seasonal service!! Nothing is ever in writing!!!
Frontier is the worst company I've ever dealt with. They bait and switch and I can hardly stand to even see their ads.
I have Bright House since 1994, and I went back to them about a horrible experience with Frontier.
(Bright House was Time Warner when I first started with them). Never get Frontier!!!!!!!!!!!
How would you compare Frontier Communications vs Time Warner Cable?
Both providers, Spectrum & Frontier, have had helpful, communicative service folks. I have not had an issue with either company.
I think your statistics are in error.
Product or Service Quality
Product is fine... it's the price issue. Saving over $50/month for a single landline number is a big difference. We aren't complicated, and the new price at Spectrum is less than your taxes and "other" charges"

I would say that I am saving over $50 month for a landline phone by switching to Spectrum (No longer Time Warner, so you make this confusing to those who don't know).
My internet service with them is perfect, and I know their phone service will be great as well. I don't know exactly where you got your 'statistics,' but I don't think they reflect everything you claim.
I cannot compare the Frontier with Time Warner as Time Warner is not an option for my client. My client has a medialert (the button you push if you fall down) and this only works with a land line.
I had Verizon when I first came to Florida. They offered a decent package price until you get the bill with all the fees, which jacked the bill up substantially.
Verizon did a number on me regarding my cell phone too, so I wasn't very fond of them. Then there is the whole signing a two year contract with them. No way! Decided to change to Bright House.
The cable service has been terrible, breaking up, doing what I call a Max Headroom for any of you that remember that program, pixelation, etc. I have my home phone with them and my phone would just drop out. I was in the middle of an emergency vet call for my cat and my phone went dead. Thankfully my cat did not.
I have changed the boxes several times now, changed the modem, changed the router, had connectors changed, reboot everything many times. Now it's changed from Bright House to Spectrum, although they still use the Bright House name and I can tell you that their customer service people are very nice and they do try to help you. My issue was with getting a new cable line buried because that now needed replacing. They expect you to leave your gates open for 12 hours (between 8 AM and 8 PM) so that they can come and go whenever they want.
Well, I have a pool and I'm not doing that, but I was willing to be here for a 12 hour period. First, they don't tell you when they are coming, they show up unannounced on whatever day they feel like it, so you would have to leave your gates open for multiple days. Then after I needed to reschedule because of the unexpected visit, I was left to sit here for 3 days days straight being told I was on the schedule each day, but no one showed up. That's 12 hours a day for 3 days.
Then I finally get an appointment for the following Thursday between 2 and 4 PM. I was unwell and needed to lay down the day after that appointment was set. No sooner did I lay down and the doorbell rings. It was a guy to bury the cable.
I went it rather than reschedule. It my impression that Spectrum has a huge problem with their dispatch office in the Tampa Region.
These people have a huge chip on their shoulder!!! Corporate will be getting letter.
