I had a car from enterprise for for months. They gave me the cheapest rate.a 2021 blue nissan cetra. And the inside was so imaculant, i thought i was sitting in a brand new car, that had just been delivered a few moments ago. But it was a 2021 with 11000 miles on it. It had all kinds of features added to it. I looked it up it was a 32000 dollor car. It was beutiful. It drove and sounded like it was brand new. This was a amazing machine. I drove that car for 4 months. They never bothrred me, never called me. Just let me drive. It cost me 3200 dollors. It came out to 27 dollors a day with unlimeted miles. And they had me in and out the door in 20 min. Herys took an our and a half.i reserved a chevy malibu at a higher rate, for extra leg room. They gave a tiny compact toyota corolla. It had dings and scratchez all over it. I got in there was dirty grime all in every creves of the car. The seats were so filthy and dirty iwas scared to sit down. But i did as soon as my nose was in the car. I gaged so hard from the *** smell i almost puked. I looked for some of the options i was paying for. To my shock and suprise this car was so basic it didnt even have a place to charge my phone. I thought it was wierd that they rushed me out the door and locked it., so first thing i had to do was spend 65 dollors to have the car cleaned. These guys did the best they could. But could not get all the grime and that nasty smell out of this car. Since i rented this car through uber i had no choice but to use it. Very firzt customer, god bless him. Said im glad you told me you rented from hertz, this car stinks and is so filthy i would not let my children in here. So i went and got fabreze and some new car smell air freshners and loaded that car down. Got through 2 days of complaints and finally parked it.now having missed 3 days of work.missing out on 1100 dollors.

This hertz is very scetchy. Unprofetional. I saw them tell the man before me they couldnt use his bank card. Without even trying it. The girl helpng me did more on her personal phone than the computer.and instead of lowering the cost of my rental. The charged me more. Im paying 350 dollors a week, for a smelly piece of *** that spits and sputters making feel unsave at night driving around the st lois area.

Hertz thoroughly discussed the vehicle and was prepared when I entered the building. Paperwork was ready for my signature.
Enterprise I sat and waited 20 minutes then there was another 15 minutes showing me the car acting like I'm an idiot..
The paperwork had to be printed despite a reservation from my Insurance company. Employees failed to allow me continue the rental even though my car was still in the repair shop. I called the day before the rental was to end. I also arrived early to discuss the matter but they just took the keys and immediately rented the car out without having it cleaned in spite of the Covid pandemic.

Hertz was clean and sealed inside and out.
The Toyota Corolla was very nicely equipped and gave great gas mileage (44.9 miles to the gallon).
Enterprise the vehicle was dirty inside and out. The Nissan Versa was a standard no frills vehicle. Gas mileage was about average in comparison.

Hertz saved me time even though it was busy. Being prepared had a lot to do with that.
Enterprise was busy as well.
Nothing was ready and the car was dirty.
When I returned the car there was no inspection and verification of the gas. They just took the keys and rented it to the next person.

Poor. Never had an issue.
Enterprise is just slightly better than hertz. They try to fix the issue as best they can but honestly it's like they have no inner company communication skills.
As if corporate dosen't talk to their employees. No one ever knows anything and again they blame each other so you end up getting the run around, to the point that you just don't care about the money and walking away is the best option. Read the fine print evey time because that's were they get you.

Good cars on both sides maybe more of a selection at enterprise here in Austin tx.
However when it comes to ties oil changes and general up keep of the vehicles they push it to its limits. Callebaut collisions is the fleet company they use for service and the tires where balding and they were like its ok another month and then well change them. I felt unsafe so i changed cars but the car i got had squeaking and grinding breaks took it back and they said the same thing naw its good well changes it in a month. Safty first people.
So i went to hertz and they do the same thing but they take all your money and won't give it back. They are very similar.
Just the smallest difference.
Hertz's service is much much better than Enterprise's.
