Cross Country Home Services and Sears Home Services Rating Details
Reviewer's quote
After putting up with the poor service, lack of vendors in our area and frankly the outright lies from what CCHS calls customer service, we let our membership lapse. It's not that we shouldn't have cancelled long ago but, after fighting back and forth for a week they stepped up and paid for half of...

NI need my stove repaired. Was sent a text which linked me to fill out a claim. Send the claim and was there are no repair companies in my area. Lol there never are. The provided a 800 number for me to call and the representative said someone will contact me in 24 to 48 hrs about getting my stove...

I had an appointment for lawn mover servicing between 8 and 5. I took the day off work. At 4pm they texted me a picture, obviously taken from a moving vehicle, of a random building with a message that the tech came to my house and no one was home. I was home, no one came, and the picture wasn't my...

This warranty company is one step below a scam. They try to make it as difficult as possible to get a repair and then the repairs take as long as possible to draw out the warranty time period and the standards they have on the warranty are so unreasonable that they will ever truly have to fix...

How would you compare Cross Country Home Services vs Sears Home Services?
Obviously, neither of these companies are attractive. They take your money, promise you no hassle repairs then give you nothing but aggravation when a claim is placed, especially if you reside in a rural area.
There is also disregard for medical emergencies with no air/heat. Wait until HVAC units with R22 come to an end and the refrigerant is no longer available! Replacement is the only option.
I’ll bet they will only cover R410 units. I am going through this now and it’s a mess.
