I have never had Centurylink, but I can share how their representatives came to my door with a promotional plan.

I signed up for it, but after reading reviews, I decided to cancel.

That went very well with no pressure to stay with them. I tried calling the representatives number he left me on his card. His no. registered as being disconnected.

This was the day after he was here.

A comcast representative, on the other hand, didn't want to let me stop my cable service.

After offering me two options, I decided on the first one, which would have been the very least cost. I was told, after being put on hold, three times, for quite awhile, that he couldn't offer it to me due to it being a promotion for only new customers.

I cancelled on the spot.
