I have never had Centurylink, but I can share how their representatives came to my door with a promotional plan.

I signed up for it, but after reading reviews, I decided to cancel.

That went very well with no pressure to stay with them. I tried calling the representatives number he left me on his card. His no. registered as being disconnected.

This was the day after he was here.

A comcast representative, on the other hand, didn't want to let me stop my cable service.

After offering me two options, I decided on the first one, which would have been the very least cost.I was told, after being put on hold, three times, for quite awhile, that he couldn't offer it to me due to it being a promotion for only new customers.

I cancelled on the spot.
