I find it hard to compare two separate companies that have nothing in common as far as products are concerned. Each has their own clientele which is not necessarily overlapped.

Thus, one must look at customer service and marketing ploys. Again, they each market to a different customer base. Personally, I may have subscribed to Birds And Blooms once. My neighbor has and I never heard any complaints.

Nothing memorable from my past dealings questions how reputable the company is or isn't. If I had struggled, I would recall. My best advice is this: carefully read the terms and conditions for cancellation. If you receive no satisfaction with customer service, then call the Better Business Bureau and your State's attorney general.

Both are consumer advocates and will take your case free of charge and help you resolve your issues. In the event fraud is involved, they will elevate the issues to a higher authority. If your credit card is charged and you don't want the service/subscription and you cannot resolve your issues with the company, call your credit card company immediately and protest the charge. Do not wait for 30 days and write a letter.

Call the day you get your credit card statement.

If at that time the credit card company wants a letter, you can submit, but you need to get your position in place with them ASAP. You don't want a letter to be misplaced, forgotten, or never received.
