Much like Big O, Firestone will lie to increase sales.
My one experience with Firestone is an oil change only, turned into my AC leaking refrigerant. Sure enough, I turn on my AC when needed and it was blowing hot air. I fill the AC with refrigerant and it's been working just fine since. This was about 6 years ago.
Although I can't prove it, I'm willing to bet my net worth that they drained it and told me it was leaking just so they could fix the "problem" and make a few hundred bucks. Crooks, just like the rest of 'em.
