How would you compare Americas Best Contacts Eyeglasses vs Cohens Fashion Optical?
I have purchased from both Cohen's and Americas Best. Customer service was comparable at both.
Product (Lenses): Definately Cohen's - their progressives are far superior! They cost a little more but believe me, you get what you pay for! Even Americas Best top end progressives don't compare to the progressives from Cohen's. Eye Exam/Doctor: Cohen's was clearly better and more comprehensive because the Doctor at Cohen's actually listened to what I wanted for glasses and gave me different prescriptions for each pair needed.
This was not the case at Americas Best. Selection (frames): Slight edge to Americas Best Deal: Americas Best has more "cheap" frames but the add ons for lenses adds up quickly.
Wrap up: If you just need a simple pair of cheap glasses go to Americas Best. But if you need progressives or want multiple glasses with different prescriptions definitely go to Cohen's.
