Houzz is a lousy company to deal with. Their shipping process is horrendous.

Amazon is at least 300 percent better.

Houzz will tell you that they will email you when an item is shipped. But they will not tell you that it will be the manufacturer of the item that will do the shipping.

On top of that, Houzz is quite a laggard in passing on order information to the manufacturer and it can easily take four to five days for an ordered item to get shipped. Amazon will usually deliver a package to my front door in the same amount of time or less.

Not only that, Amazon will usually let you cancel an order before it is shipped. Houzz will only let you cancel an order within 30 minutes after an order is placed. So if you are unhappy with Houzz not having shipped an item after 3 or 4 days, you cannot cancel the order.
