I was a member of WoW in Brick from 1993-****, when I moved to Monmouth County. In 2000, I found a local WoW in Tinton Falls, where I rejoined without a problem.

I was a member there from 2000 - ****. In 2006 I moved to Maryland and terminated my membership. When I returned to NJ this year, I opened a new membership in Ocean Twp. I went for a few days, and then signed up for a "free" personal training session.

The very next day, my swipe tag didn't work at the counter! Why? ...because they tell me I owe them $400 from 1998, but they can forgive my bad debt if I sign up for a personal training PACKAGE of $700 or more. Really?

I was a member for SIX years from 2000 - ****, how come no one ever told me during that time that I owed $400? Why didn't they ever call me, send me something in the mail, or report me to a credit agency? How can I owe $400 from 10 years ago, and no one notice until I had a "free" personal training session? I feel this is some sort of new scam, and I am deeply offended.

I was a loyal member for many years, and this is how they treat me? Disgusting.

I signed up for their "Free Personal Training Session" too. It ended up being a sales meeting with a personal trainer in an office.

During this meeting the trainer explained all the free training sessions are just going to be sales meetings. So I complained and got a response from the manager saying that's not true. He set me up with a new trainer and she actually took me on the floor, but then made me feel like I couldn't ask for the free sessions.

A friend goes to another WoW and has the same problem. Totally misinforming the customers on their website.
