Potential foster parents and families often have many questions about Company's process. Website hope that the answers below provide The Client with the facts The User of company services need to make an informed decision about fostering a child. The temporary or long-term caring for a child(ren) and/or adolescent(s)who have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned and are in the care and custody of the Department of Children and Families. The role of a foster parent is to provide a stable, loving, safe environment where the youth can thrive and succeed. Anyone who is single, married, or cohabitating with a partner can be a foster parent. There is no discrimination of race, age or gender identity. LGBTQ individuals are encouraged to foster. The User of company services must be at least 21 years old or older. The Client can rent or own The Client's home. Children can share a room with other children in the home of the same gender and age range, dependent on their needs.
