I ordered 6 items, they sent 2 and indicated on the invoice the other 4 items were shipped separately. They canceled the back ordered items, and never let me know.

They gave me a $10 discount as 1st time customer, showed it on the invoice, but my credit card showed they charged me more than the invoice without the 1st time customer discount. I emailed several times, they would not honor the promotional code that their website offered and accepted and applied when I paid online. They gave lots of excuses, would not honor discount.

I opened a dispute with my credit card company and they charged back the discount to Vitacost immediately. It would seem VitaCost is very disreputable.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

The company sent me a survey asking if a representative who responded to me had satisfied me. All they did was write me a form letter asking if there was anything they could do for me and re-stating the obvious.

The original issue was that over a year ago they refused to give me a refund for the product I gave away because, eithout warning, they changed their policy about giving courtesy credit without always requiring the return of the product. The response I got was a reminder of their current policy, not the previous policy. It also stated that I only had 60 days to return something. At the time that I had ordered these items the time limit had not been reached.

I filed a bbb complaint and requested monetary compensation for an item that I can no longer return . I answered they had not satisfied Me. They have a space for explaining why with the character limit that they did not define. Whatever the character limit is, didn't allow space for a proper explanation.

So I gave them a one line sentence after typing out an explanation I couldn't put on their site, saying I was going to type III you soon here. Here's the reason: Once again this company is giving me the runaround. I did business with them because Kroger had purchased their operation. Kroger is my grocery store and they don't give me this kind of *** I trusted Kroger, so I thought I could trust these people too.

I would love to have a mechanism to tell Kroger what kind of a racket they purchased. If viiacost is listening here is their explanation : I filed a BBB complaint and requested monetary compensation for an item that I can no longer return.! Itโ€™s well past 60 days and I donโ€™t have the product anymore because I gave it away not knowing that you were no longer crediting people without a return. You should have warned people before you Changed the return policy So that you were no longer crediting people without requiring the product to be returned.

My complaint said that you gave people the runaround when I tried to resolve this matter. I kept getting told to return the product, after explaining that I couldnโ€™t, and people contradicted me when they shouldโ€™ve had on record promises made by previous representative to the contrary About making it right if I didnโ€™t love my experience and then not accommodating what I felt was a reasonable exception to the new rules. Telling me you Would accommodate me and then me yo return a product that i can no longer return is not an accommodation, itโ€™s called the runaround. Iโ€™m sorry I ever thought I could trust you like I trust Kroger and I want them to be notified of the kind of *** youโ€™ve given me.

After filing this complaint I received an email from a representative. They gave me a form response asking if there's anything they can do. But I've already told you what you can do through the Better Business Bureau. This is just more of the same runaround that I've been getting all along.

Give me my money back. I can't return the product anymore. You should tell people when you're going to change your policy and that you were now requiring everything to be returned. That way they don't do what I did and give the product away because someone promised them a refund and said it wasn't necessary to return it.

I had a lousy experience. Your slogan is love you experience I will make it right. You didnโ€™t make it right. That's called a lie.

You people are evidently unwilling to live up to your word. That's dishonest. And it's all over a single item that is no longer in your records anymore. cost less than $50.

What does the Better Business Bureau complaint cost you? Is The cost of a Bbb complaint really worth being this greedy and Continuing the runaround with a formal response and the character limit to my explanation that makes me waste my time writing it only to find out I wrote too much? Are you so greedy that itโ€™s worth giving me this much of a hard time? Keep your promise and make it right Or stop lying to people.

Donโ€™t send me another form response . Iโ€™m going to file a counter complaint against Kroger if you do and see if they have a renewed opinion of the customer service Cesspool youโ€™ve become.
