This is clearly bait and switch advertising and is against the law. Why would you Direct Advertise products that you don't offer in the area?

I have been a customer for 10 months. I signed up for the Freedom 150gb-Boost 25 + Wifi package for $120 and 24 months.

On 4/24 I called to complain about slow speeds, less than 2mps. The rep told me it was congested on their end and my equipment was fine. After the diagnosis, i asked her about the advertisement flyer i got in the mail offering 50 mps and unlimited data for $100 a month. The rep took a minute to check and came back and said, great news that its available and that i could switch.

So i did. Who wouldnt? Twice the speed at the same cost seemed like a no brainer. So i signed up.

Turns out the plan isnt offered in my area and the rep inrolled me into the Liberty 50 gb 12mps program, which is why for the last 4 days my speeds are lethargic. After 2.5 hours on the phone they wont reinstated my original plan, and they are trying to cram a plan that doesnt meet my needs down my throat.

They want to charge me 265 to cancel to boot.

So they send me advertising to my house via DIRECT MAIL, get me to want it, I agree, but put me into an overpriced slower subpar package, that i didnt agree to, and expect me to be OK with that. Im calling my local TV station, and opening a BBB complaint, after i cancel my CC so they cant charge me for something i never agreed to.
