United Auto Credit - What is even going on here?
I have paid faithfully and on time via direct withdrawal until October of last year when I went to alter the date of my withdrawal and United Auto Credit told me they use Western Union for the automatic withdrawals, which of course i knew that. So I called up Western Union and they had no record of me.
So either United Auto or Western Union took money out of my bank account that was posted to my loan every month for close to 24 months and NOBODY has any record of me?!?! Ok.
So obviously i stopped automatic withdrawals and just started paying online every month (the cheapest fee involved in paying online every month is a $5 fee just for trying to pay your loan payment.) Well , i've started paying over the minimum payment every month. So this month, I kept looking on their website to see what my monthly payment was, since I knew I had overpaid for numerous months and my monthly payment would be significantly smaller than normal.
So I checked my E statement they send to me every month when my bill is ready, and the E statement said $0 was due that month. That was 6/3 and the payment is due on 6/17. So I said ... ok.
So every other day from 6/3 to 6/17 I looked online at my account to see if it payment due was $0. I overpay so much and so frequently that having a payment due of $0 seemed plausible. So one last time on 6/16/2016 .. the day before my payment is due it says payment of ...
$0. What do you know i've been getting calls from them all weekend and I looked at my account today and it says I had a payment due of $209 on 6/17. This makes no sense to me. How can they keep sending me statements every month saying there's $0 due and then the literal day of my due date they switch it by $200?!
I have screenshots of the statements. and my account info.
