Tricare - Co payments
I am 80 years old, wife of a retired E-8 USAF retiree of 20+ years eligible for medical services through Kaiser Senior advantage, Medicare and Tricare for life. My husband insists when I go to the doctor I do not pay co payments but Kaiser and ask for the bill from them be sent to our billing home address.
Kaiser says this is not their responsibility and that I must pay the co payment and then We submit forms to Tri care for life. If Kaiser is responsible for submitting the bills to Medicare and Tricare for Life, could you tell me the regulation that covers this? If not, would you please explain the process from start to finish of my doctor visits, co pay charges and the process for paying the bill.
Thank you for whatever information you can give me. I need your help.

Im not sure of the Tricare for Life policy, but you can call the TFL contractor: Wisconsin Physician Services 866-773-****. They are the people who handle your plan. Good luck!
My husband has Medicare and Tricare for Life. Claims get submitted to Medicare and then aoutomatically submitted to Tricare for Life. My husband NEVER had to pay a copay!!!
Just pay the copay. Simple as that.
