Do you know how can we bring these scammers down? I am thinking to stop paying for this as called membership and at least save my future monthly payments because there is no discount what so ever.

If you try to book a room it's not enough that you have to pay more points for a better view but you have to pay more usage fee depends what room you decide to book. I requested a logical explanation of why do I have to pay more for food if I want a better room as I will eat in the same places but, I didn't get a valid answer. I signed up last year while being in Cancun Royalton Resort and now when I tried to book my vacation I realize that it's cheaper on Expedia. I already paid $3000 so far which I could have put towards my vacation.

Some lawyer should open a case against these scammers I am sure that many Americans would be happy to sue them. Guess what their headquarters is in Panama, go figures they have different laws that we are not aware of.

Reason of review: I feel I was robed.

Monetary Loss: $3000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

don't be a fool and get out of this.we were on vacation at the royalton cancun -we were approach with very nice people to get into travelsmart , the membership gold prime 300 for 30 years originally was 72,000US and

after a lot of pressure and the time spent negotiating the price was brought down to 36,000 Canadian dollars-

first payment right now on visa of $5400 , next month $5400, third mont $7200 and

the rest $18000 will be $750.00 for the next 24 month

we are seniors 53 and 49 and they took full advantage of us.

We signed up for the membership when they started offering 900 000 smart point in 30 years or 30000 point every years with annual fee cost around $500 for 10000 point. after 2 years if you don't take a try you lose them.

plus additional one vacation for free no flight included,6 special week and 6 bonus weeks ocean view room while we were there and many other perks. told us when book with them, we will receive vip service, pick up a the airport I guess we were trapped and fell for their lies. However after signing found out that it was all lies. We tried to book a free vacation as per the contract and was very hard to book , so we decided to cancel after 6 month and i now that they will give us nothing back..

can believed sunwing let those people (TSV) in there resort. i guess i won't travel for the next 6 years.

you have to pay to learn. cost me a lot of money for nothing PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE A DID

I'm almost tempted to pay full price through another source just so I can talk with the people who scammed me in person!

Sorry this post says anonymity, computer illiterate, travelsmart Punta Cana got us , So far credit card did not go thru, but now wondering what the consequences will be !!!! My feel everyone's pain ruined my vacation K

I am in the same boat. I got scammed for almost 10000USD.

I stop making payments and cut my old credit card. They are emailing me and threatening to ruin my credit score.

These scums scam good hard working people and still want to collect? We need to put together a class action suit against them and call out Sungwing Vacation

Have written a letter to Sunwing Vacations as their advertising clearly states they are in partnership with Travel Smart as I cannot believe they would be associated with such unethical practices. I wanted their feedback.

Also as Sunwing is a Canadian company and again are clearly affiliated with Travel Smart I have sent copies of my letter, and complaints to the following however on most of these sites you can do an online complaint:
