I booked a Toyota Highlander in October 2021 and the dealer (Toyota country Hills, Calgary, Alberta, Canada) confirmed a delivery within 2 months time. After 8 months, the Dealer confirmed today that Toyota has shortage of parts and hence cannot produce Hybrid models.
The dealer further advised to either wait for another 4-6 months or just cancel the order as there is no guarantee. Is that how Toyota is now going to treat clients? COVID is now over and things are back to normal and hence taking COVID exclude no more works. I’m driving a rented car for past 8 months and it’s literally ridiculous how we are being treated by the dealership.
