Resolved: Tootsie Roll Industries - Really old candy
You need to start putting expiration dates on your boxes. About 3 or 4 months ago I bought some milk chocolate covered cherry cordials. They have been on the shelf at Walgreens so long that the liquid dried out and the cherries shriveled up to nothing. It was obvious that these things were old because the chocolate even looked yukky and I couldn't even get them out of the box without my finger going through. So I took both boxes back to Walgreens and got a refund.
I bought some yesterday and the cashier and I tried to find an expiration date but could not. So I asked her if she got these in recently and she said yes. They looked like they came in recently since the packaging looked new as well. So I told the cashier these should be OK then and they were, after I got home and opened them.
I love your cherry cordials when they haven't been on the shelves for ions. And yes they do have real cherries and nice tasty liquid in them when they are fairly new.

I don't know what's going on but Cella Cherries have apparently changed.
I bought a box yesterday that were different.
The chocolate was lighter colored and was softer.
The cherries were smaller
The bottom has a recess that the doesn't allow as much liquid.
I was very disappointed.
Not very good.
I don't know who actually makes them so I can report to the maker. Putting a report here is useless except to complain to each other, I doubt the maker even reads this.
Same thing happen to me. To expense for that.
Cellas never contacted me about anything.
Same happened with my box bought from Walgreens.
