Buying a house from Toll is easy, Sales, Design and close are no problem. When you follow their process of documenting the issues found don't expect to have good communication or feel as though they care or in any rush to work on them Unlike when you are in the build process and have to write checks at certain points trying to get your warranty over the finish line is a disaster!
They don't communicate, don't plan nor do they demonstrate any sense of urgency. In fact when you raise the issues to the Division President Dan Paul, he will tell you that he is not the best person to get involved because he is busy...additionally you should expect to hear about the trades shortage of workers in the DFW area as to why they can't get your issues fixed. Every industry is experiencing the robust economy in the DFW market and are figuring out how to deliver service.
This certainly is not the experience you expect from a "luxury homebuilder". You have been warned!
