Non-delivery of propane by Thrifty Propane
After reading these comments I am wondering about the propane business in America. I just had a major fiasco with Thrifty Propane where they held $600 of my pre-buy money and would not deliver propane to my house.
I placed an order and they simply never delivered. After repeated phone calls and actually running out of propane, I had to go with another company (XPress in Phoenixville, PA).
The cost is 30 cents a gallon higher than what Thrifty has listed as their price, BUT...they actually delivered the product. I will never do business with Thrifty again and will do everything I can to make sure other pople don't suffer through 2 weeks of cold showers, no heat, no clothes dryer, and no stove!
Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
Monetary Loss: $600.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Location: Phoenixville, Pennsylvania

Iโm having the same problem and almost running out of propane with company did you ended up buying? Any news in solving your problem at thrifty?
Propane was delivered on 3.3.2015. Driver did not come in to do a leak ck or anything. My son had to restart the furnace.
I was excited to find Thrifty propane when I did...pricing was the best! Service and delivery was lacking and their prices have also gone up.
Was not impressed at this time with this company.I need to have trust and faith that delivery of hearing propane will be timely and not take 10 BUSINESS DAYS+ for delivery.
As I said after ordering at 25% then running out before delivery, during freezing weather I was very disappointed. Not comfortable with this company that I can get a timely delivery therefore I can not recommend this company to others.
I am marking issue resolved because I did eventually get delivery.
Thank you
