When Piano Experts permanently closed its doors in January 2008, the Biascos "had approximately 174 outstanding orders totaling over $975,000 in sales," the lawsuit read in part. The complaint accuses the Biasco brothers of taking their customers' money and then failing to deliver their pianos; accepting piano trade-ins and failing to deliver new pianos or return the trade-ins; accepting old pianos on consignment and never returning them or paying the cash value of the consignment; and failing to issue refunds when asked to do so.
