Supposedly there is a "break in" period before the cane tip/foot begins to pivot and bend as advertised. Mine is on so tight it will be a miracle if that ever happens!
This situation is ridiculous! There should not be a "break in" period for something like this. I need it to work NOW, not a few weeks from now. My husband used his hands to try to loosen it and it won't budge.
I'm tempted to use a wrench to loosen it up but that would leave marks.
Not only doesn't it flex as advertised, it won't even turn on the shaft like a regular cane tip would do if you needed to change it. Perhaps this was epoxied on.
