Purchased an X1 on 5/17/2016 had to send it in for repairs on 7/8/2016.The middle joint connecting the two wheels snapped in half.

I paid 100.00 to have it shipped, they charged me 90.00 for repair. When I called to challenge their decision the customer service agent said "our product doesn't break like that". The product was being ridden and it snapped in half. It wasn't dropped or abused in any way.

These people don't know the meaning of customer service and their product is inferior.

Swagway is taking advantage of consumers and their management doesn't have a clue as to handle customer service.Do not give them your money, the product won't last and they can't deliver on service.

Review about: X1.

I didn't like: Customer service, Product is poor, Ripoff.

Review #888946 is a subjective opinion of a user.

Swagway apologizes you are unhappy with the free one year warranty against manufacturers defects. However a snapped metal frame is not considered a defect.

Swagway has a strict and rigorous quality assurance testing and certification program.

We have found internally that the only way to break the metal frame (as in the image you provided) was to exceed the 220 lb weight limit, exceed the force limit (vertical drop with rider on unit) or incorrectly stand on the product (stand on center).

The Swagway X1 is actually factory rates to 280 lbs, while we recommend a weight limit of 220 lbs as stated in the owners manual. This is further protection against broken frames under normal use when following the recommendations of the Swagway X1 owner's manual.

Broken metal frames are not covered under the FREE limited one year warranty against manufacturers defects.

If you are unhappy with this response, you can email satisfaction@Swagway.com to elevate this issue.
