My name is Roland Balalne Jr. just purchased from Summer Bay Resorts Supervisor Kimberly Umholtz was AWSOME !

Her # (407) 215-**** Ext. 22212 Got 4daysNapa 4daysAnaheim 3daysVegas 3daysSedona. Yes I paid the hidden charges $15.00 per night which is used for the hotel taxes they tell you about. I paid $398.00 total, average night at Holiday Inn $99.00 plus taxes and applicable fees.

Saved $598.00 plus taxes, applicable fees and got free attraction tickets. If you cannot afford the $398.00 and 15 to 20 days of vacation which are not cheap. Then better a Motel 6 for $39.95 per night and hang out by the pool with a 30 pack type vacation. We don't do those.

You have to go there with an open mind, and who knows you might just end up buying a time share. Nothing in this world is free except for the Love God has for you. It works out at about $55.00 per night plus free tickets! Even the price chopper won't get you a deal like that.

So leave the 30 pack mentality at home and enjoy life.

We have owned at Summer Bay for many years, and in those years have had ups and downs with them. We at first had a negative experience when we signed up to hear the presentation and were given accomodations.

We also thought we would stay in a resort, but were put in a hotel that was NOT nice. Time passed and we did buy with them and received two free air fares to Hawaii with no presentation required. We have traded in RCI and have had nice places in all except one place (Dubois, PA). I even used my points for places to stay in Europe, which were great.

Some were just hotels and not luxurious at all, but quaint (In Athens, Greece). Others were very nice resorts with everything you could want (on Crete, Greece). More recently, after we converted some points from another timeshare (sold and bought more in Summer Bay), we were confused about what we had and how/when the points had to used. I called the guy who had sold to us (He had given his personal number).

Even though he no longer worked there, he still felt that the company was good and gave us the name of someone at Summer Bay who he knew would help, and that he did.

Most of the time, if you are nice and patient, they are respond in kind and will try their best to accomodate your needs. We have always had fun when staying at Summer Bay.

Hey Laurie come on over just do the research if you think about buying. Most are just whiners but there is truth to their whining. and yes Roland I got the same package only $100 cheaper than yours it was fun just remember to say NO at the time share presentation

I recievd a call from June Tyler claiming that sh was calling from summer b=ay resorts Orlando FL. She said that i had won a $3000 discount on a vacati=on package for 4 persons.

i was given a customer number and was aked to pay=the balance because the original cost of the package was $3898. i email su=mmer bay resorts and then receive a call form Jose Cruz. He told me to get =back to him on 866 280 ****.

i fund your email address on website while g=oogling i need to find out if this is real=2C or a scam. please let meknow =asap =

I have just been SCAMMED by them. Don't buy through them, go directly to a resort.

Bahama Bay & Spa is cheaper then going through this package. I booked back in Feb and they told me everything was set. Now following up they didn't put me in the resort, but a cheap *** hotel and told me they told me I was put there because I was a single young mother with 3 children. After calling the resort they told me they have never received a request from them, but itรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs too late as they were book.

The company told me today that they tired to transfer me to another place, but canรขโ‚ฌโ„ขt because everyone is sold out! I called Bahama Bay Directly and was able to book with no problems for cheaper price. Today they are telling me they will not give back my money so I'm going after them as I even purchased an upgraded package. This deal might be good for someone if you're looking to stay in a cheap hotel, but don't expect a resort.

I'm planning on going after them to get back my money and make an official complaint. Let me know if anyone would like to join me as I'm pissed; lost over $300 and for what (call me 240-446-****). Please, please before you book with this company--Do Your Research!! It may work out, but most likely NOT.

Why would you want to take the chance, personally from now on Iรขโ‚ฌโ„ขm going to book through a company with good standings and do research before hand. If you have money to throw away, then go ahead and take your chances. Itรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs a huge gamble as you may lose a lot of money as I have.

I am in Australia and about to purchase the holiday package to come to the USA to visit Summer bay resorts Orlando. All this negative reviews concern me that we have been scammed.

Then i read these positive comments and BOY AM I CONFUSED.

It is going to cost us a lot to come over so I hope it is money well spent. I own timeshare in Australia and it is great.

I just purchased a package from summerbay resorts and I spoke to Kimberly. I read through all the terms and conditions and questioned her about everything.

She had all the right answers and assured me that this is no scam. I also got her direct e-mail and phone number and she helped me to understand all the extra's that were my responsibility as the consumer. So yes you pay the taxes and yes you have to do the 90min tour or you pay for your hotel stay but *** I think thats a good deal compared to the money you save. And for those who say its a scam I was not told about the seven days to cancel and the extra costs.

Well your the *** because neither was I but I took the time to read all the terms and conditions and all of those things are stated very clearly and if you had any questions they are very willing to be straight forward and tell you how this thing works. Never buy something and dont investigate it first.

I have spoken with Kimberly on more than one occasion. She seemed to be the most knowledgeable.

I think that is one of the most common problems among companies, the staff is not all equally trained. She helped me out when i felt as if i was mislead by one of the anxious sales agent and felt as if i were scammed. I brought my concerns to her and told her that i wanted to cancel my package. She did not debate with me or argue.

She made sure I understood why the package was being provide and answered all of my questions, i was very reluctant on even speaking with any one since all i wanted was my money back and she said she would do that. She wanted to know WHY i wanted to cancel.. i told her all of my concerns and she address them individually and made sure i had a better understanding of what i purchased. To this day, i have a locations in my vacation package that i have not used and i was wanting to book my Orlando and Daytona portion.

I actually waited until she returned from maternity leave before i booked. I think it is very important to deal with someone who knows the ins and outs of their job. I would urge any of you with complaints or questions to call her directly, she even has a voice mail and has helped me tremendously . I think she has worked for that company for over five years..

I have emailed her a few times too at kumholtz@***.com and her phone number is 407215**** ext 22212. Any one reading this, please understand, we are the consumer, and they are the company, there ARE people who care about what they do for a living and are willing to help us..

Instead of listening to negative nelly's we should all give them the benefit of the doubt and bring our concerns to the table, so they can help us, we just want to be treated as we expect it. Its just a shame that everyone doesnt have the knowledge such as Kimberly.
