Skechers - Bottom of shoes stick to the floor when walking.
I purchased a pair of relaxed fit skechers sneakers and they almost sent me to the hospital. I was coming off an airplane, I was ok on the carpet floor, but as soon as I hit the metal flooring the shoes stuck to the floor and I fell over, my hands got rug burn and were bleeding, and I hurt my back and shoulder.
these sneakers should be taken off the market before they kill someone. These shoes have a thick white bottom and their model # is 12157/CCGR empire rock around . DON't buy them! I have worn Skechers for years but after this experience I will NEVER buy another pair.

I have a new pair of gowalks. I've walked outdoor without problem but today I walked an indoor track.
I would not be exaggerating if I said this happened at least 20 times in a 2.5 mile walk. (More likely 2 or 3 times that) I guess these will be my outside only walking shoes.
I had a similar problem with my Sketchers. Stick to certain flooring and I tripped and fell twice. Any way I can exchange them for another type of sketchers or another brand?
I would like to know if anyone has contacted sketchers regarding this dangerous problem
I would like to know if anyone had contacted
I had the same thing happened to me when I was walking in certain surfaces like wood.
Same thing has been happening to me at the Atlanta Airport wearing a pair of Skechers Gorun shoes.
Iโm throwing my 2 pair of Sketchers in the trash. I canโt tell you how many near falls I had with them until finally 2 weeks ago I fell face first on the floor in Walmart! ER, X-rays, medications, goodbye Sketchers!!!
Did Walmart pay your medical bills? I recently fell in Target when my Sketchers stuck to the floor. Multiple injuries.
i have the same problem. i thought it was just me.
I just fell walking to the classroom! My shoe stuck to the floor while I was walking and I fell.
Thanks be to God that I didn't seriously hurt myself! I fell on my right side and am sore and bruised.
I was is the Store today shoe stuck to the floor and fell hurt arm and knees. You would be responsible for the shoes causing injuries.
My sketchers stuck to floor but I was propelled across the room and hit my lower kitchen cabinets. At first thought the paint chips on floor were my teeth.
Knees so bruised and sore had a hard time moving.
Ribs and elbows bruised and sore. It happened so fast, could not even help myself.
this exact same thing happened to me and blackened my face hurt my shoulder and rib area and lots of other places and still healing up from that. This caused me to search and, suprisingly, find this albeit a little late..
I have fallen twice with the Skechers. The first time I injured my knee very badly was laid up for weeks.
The second time they stuck to the floor when I was walking, I fell and knocked my front tooth out .
Large gash that needs stitches over my eye. I love the look of the shoes but I've been burnt twice and I will never buy them again they need to change the soles on the shoes so they are not so grippy.
Had a nasty fall while being discharged from hospital for another issue. Fell badly on tile floor after soles of sketchers shoes gripped tile and sent me flying .
Hit head and knee and ribs.
Yes, they could easily kill someone .. Sad, because they are very comfy...but too dangerous to ever wear Sketchers again.
Toe of shoe stuck to concert driveway. Broke clavicle and 6 ribs.
Yesterday I nearly killed myself when my sketchers slipons stuck to the hardwood floor and caused me to lose balance and fall on my head. Ended up in the ER. Very comfortable shoe that I will have to throw away along with 6 other pairs of sketchers.
No one has mentioned that Sketchers also stick to carpet. Mine stopped me and I went flying face first into the door jamb.
Ended up with a black and blue eye and twisted glasses. 3 weeks ago the same thing happened to my husband.
He hit his forehead, snapped back and hit his neck and broke a vertebrae. So dangerous!
Iโve had the same thing happen a few times with these shoes. While they provide cushioning, thereโs something about the soles that stick to linoleum/ congoleum waxed floors.
My sketchers Mary Jane style have been sticking for the past month. I just ignored this.
They have thick rubber soles with button projections. This morning, one stuck on my (clean) hardwood floor and I propelled forward.
Result was right temporal head injury, bruises on both knees and right โfooshโ injury to wrist. No more sketchers for me.
