Purchased a pair of captain chairs for my 2012 Fleetwood Discovery coach to replace my aging pair. placed the purchase in March and received the chairs in May.
the drivers chair was ordered without a massager and power recline, the passenger chair WAS ordered with massager and power recline.
in the order, the passenger seat with the features also had controls on the left side. after installing the seats with the controls in the isle as all coaches have, it was discovered that the chair with the massager and power recline had controls on the right. So we swapped them figuring the controls were improperly installed only to discover that the seat without the massager was 2 inches taller and left the driver barely able to reach the pedals.
I have been calling in for months now (since May) for resolution trying to describe the situation and get resolution. after many conversations and long waits, we determined that the 2 added features were installed in the wrong chair (controls on the left).
after further review by the company, they informed me that controls are always on the outside and therefore the seats were right!. in fact they still are not.
the order calls for the 2 features to be installed on the seat with left hand controls and they were installed in the seat with right hand controls. so far, all the company offers me is a discount on a new chair rather than remaking the seat with the left hand controls properly and returning the one i have. as of this writing, they still have not resolved it, have not offered to remake the chair and still wont come to any resolution.
they even went to go so far as to state they weren't sure if the controls position was determined standing in front of the chair or while sitting.
I believe that the only way to get resolution from this company is to seek legal action on the product.
They called back and offered a mere 500! The purchase was over 5grand!
The seats are unusable! What an insult
