Had an HVAC construction defect in 2012 that they said was my fault. The HVAC contractor made some adjustments in the condensation drip coils, but we spent $500 repairing condensation drip damage.
Annual inspections reveal no issues since then that they claimed I had done in only 3 years of ownership. I now have a problem with Roman tub fixture installation. In this case the plumbing subcontractor clearly installed the original faucets incorrectly. It now requires tearing out some tile, for which Shea gave me no replacement pieces.
They were unwilling to do some extra leg work to find my house file, since the originals were not digitally imaged into their system.
We were trying to see if they might have manufacturer/color specs. While we realize our home is 11 years old, the fact that it was a defective install we thought might cause Shea to try a little harder to help us.
