Bought a new home for 1.2 million. We have had them in 5x to redo bathrooms. Why? Because they had faulty designs, and two bathrooms flooded 2x, and another 1x. Massive MOLD. Over 140 days loss of use.
We also have faulty flooring. Their own inspector wrote a report saying so, and it looks like we need to sue.
They installed a master toilet with a crack that had putty in it. After it broke loose and flooded, they accused me of doing it myself. Really? I want to flood my own home with toilet water, and pay out of pocket for a remediation company to come when Shea told me in writing to "turn off the water and call your plumber"
Tried to work out amicably. Nope. So I am about to hire an attorney whom I have been consulting.
Oh, by the way, be careful in new communities. They control the architectural board until the last home is sold an appear to retaliate against those who make claims for construction defects.
NEVER EVER AGAIN SHEA. SEE YOU IN COURT.
